Wasn't any worse than the previous 49m. I say 49m because other than the run that setup Burton for his try he didn't really do anything else. I honestly can't believe how easily he man handled 5 defenders in that run and then basically didn't run again and finished the game with 4pcm lol.

He was good in the first half in attack & defense. Terrible at both in the second half.

I've said it from the start, CC should play him @ HB and get some one like Sherwin to spend time with him at training, and mentor him at and before each game, surely the club can afford paying Sherwin to help him.
Its obvious that good HB are few and far in between, so the next best option is to develope from within and Rajab looks the most suited to HB, and that includes both Burton and KO, As a local Junior he would have his heart in the club unlike some of the mersenerys we get from other clubs, who only come for big money.

how is this any different to the same old situation we’ve all been through with every other reserve grade half like KO, the second coming of Reynolds, Biondi Odo, Averillo (in the halves), Docker Clay, Lewis, Mbye etc etc? someone comes in for 5 minutes and has 1 good touch and the next minute 90% of the kennel is calling for them to be captain coach lol.

rajab isn’t the answer. we’ve already got 2 inexperienced halves and look how that’s working out for us - at least karl can defend, rajab went full turnstile against parramatta

Its really tiring investing any sort of energy into our juniors when our grade side is wooden spoon worthy. Be that as it may nsw cup is actually more interesting to watch with less intervention of the shitty refs.

Wilson, skelton, hayward, rajab, papalii (didnt play last weekend), topine and even flanagan are a cut above that standard of grade. Do we do enough work with these guys to transition them or do we need to start over wjth a better roster to have the platform for these guys to develop?

People have to realise that we are struggling with size in the middle and KO doesn't provide a solution in that department, he is a 5/8 possibly a 1/2, and for know let's not confuse and ruin the kid.

Do you get the feeling that we are cursed, CC seems to have fallen into the same predicament as Pay and TBaz did before him but the difference now is our reserve grade is leading the comp,
The jump is great from reserve to 1st grade but the time has come for CC to make that JUMP of FAITH !!!

You are correct.
Shifty was good at playing eyes up footy.
You can't teach that. You either have it or you don't. Not sure he is able to teach structured footy.
