OFFICIAL | POST-GAME Pre Season Challenge #2 Vs Brisbane

Hutcho got 8 weeks leeway last year and Sexton should get that as well to prove his worth. Otherwise it should be fair game that O'Neill or Tia gets to have a crack at that position if they are killing it in the lower grades.

I was a bit hard on him earlier but To be fair on Sex didnt do any opposed sessions during pre season so he wouldve been very rusty out there today...

Hopefully he has shrugged off the cob webs and is better for the run.

I think he was just sussing out a few things with a few players.

The fact he threw on Hayward, Hayes and Morrin who are probably fighting for the same jersey says something... Probably wanted to see who would make the most impact and to be fair i dont think any of them stood out more than the other.
Hayward can keep his spot to rotate with Mahoney and cover the halves

no room for Hayes or Morrin. Curran and Sitili are mobile middles/edges, we need some size in DSF or variation with Todd

Was he injured as well?

We don't have that dangerous zippy guy who can come on and create.. our guys come on and play the sane structure as the player they replaced.. so defence don't have to make too many adjustments during the game. Also our kick chase is horrible, was last year too. We hardly ever put back threes under pressure unless Burton puts up a massive bomb which they decide to let bounce.

I dont think you should carry Mann and Hayward personally.

Mann is very versatile, should be ur only ute tbh.

His biggest niggle is having to play with Burton and Mahoney

he’ll be alright, tried hard, not afraid to run and did majority of the kicking

Tried to hard tbh...

That moment, when Sexton jumped in front of Burton on the last and Xerri was screaming at them "who wants it" was such an amateur moment.. Boys need to get their shit together.

They were having a power nap on the pitch cut them some slack dude!

Well he should know Burton never wants it unless it's a long kick or FG attempt lol

Haha Ciraldo is the real deal. I just think our current spine is significantly overrated.

Connor Tracey will come good no doubt and is a solid fullback for 2025 and 2026. But we need an upgrade at 7 asap to elevate the team.

Let's hope Tracey, Burton and Sexton all had their worst game of the season today.
It's not overrated, it's underfunded compared to most !

Nice logic there, Morrin made 6 errors in the 2024 season and Hughes, who also pays in the middle, made 12 Errors, so using your logic Hughes must be smaller than Morrin. Interesting

Team Work
Divide that by the number of first grade games they each played. There’s your answer Sherlock.

Only a thought, why would'nt Mann succeed at 7.
