Calm down man. This was a trial and the very first time our starting side has played together. We have to be a bit realistic with our expectations. A loss like this in a nothing game is much better than a 12 all score line. It shows where we are at.

Its going to take time and a bit of patience from us supporters.

In all seriousness, how long will Gould give him if the side starts off like it has for the last 5 years? He’s no fool, he wouldn’t be doing his job if he wasn’t looking at options already. Who though, that’s the question.

What is really glaring is that we just don’t have any cohesiveness, it was the same story last year, the good teams attack at pace - in contrast, we’re just slow at executing… the Sharks looked sharp in every aspect of the game, Fitzgibbons first season and he already looks an astute buy for Cronulla - he out coached TB in this trial and he’s got his players humming.

I’m starting to doubt TB, I’m not sure he has the respect of the dressing room that demands excellence. From the outside looking in, he wants to be the warm and fuzzy coach but it doesn’t work that way, some hard truths need to come out before he is tapped on the shoulder.
