With one of the largest fan bases, supposedly richest leagues clubs. It has been a great couple of wins by the boys, but with those two elements we should not be in the position of cellar dwellers. You can hardly blame supporters for being pi$$ed off.
There is a difference between being "pissed off" (which I believe we all are) with unrealistic expectations and being just as "pissed off" but also acknowledging the reality of the situation we are in. Basically in 2 years we have had to let go every one of our strike players to become Cap compliant. High cost, strike players had to be replaced with low cost, inexperienced youngsters. That was the price that simply had to be paid and there is a cost in that, the realists recognise that and accept that it is going to take time to recover.

I know that James Marroun was a former bankrupt (reference ASIC reporting) and was suspended from being involved in junior rugby league.
Elias Boutros is banned for life from being a motor dealer after getting caught winding back car speedos (reference Office of Fair Trading).
George and Arthur Coorey are known buddies of Eddie Obeid (reference 2002 ICAC enquiry) .
There is another but I haven't been able to confirm the source, so that will have to wait.

True that... however Marroun was forced to step down as a result.

If it happened in this latest case things would get rather interesting given how some people have fingers in everyones pies. Could actually be good for the club as it'd let people actually do their jobs without someone breathing down their neck.

This latest incident also means there is a former Asst Coach, and former first grade coach now between jobs.

The realists realise Pay is not the answer regardless of the situation we are in

The realists realise that moving the coach on won't help if there isn't someone better available at the time to replace him.
We realise that even if there is someone better available they may not want to come to us at the time knowing that the rest of this year will be a nightmare.
We also realise that even if there is someone better available they may not want to come to us knowing that next year won't be much better.
Any sensible coach would have to think very carefully about coming to us this year or next year as it could easily ruin their reputation, forever.
Simply because the unrealists expect instantaneous and unrealistic results and will lambaste the coach if it doesn't happen.
Every post demanding the coaches head is just another reason why other coaches would choose to stay away.
Possibly if the unrealists really want a decent coach to consider us then maybe it might be a good idea to SFU and stop scaring them away. Just a thought.

Why?
The mistake adds a certain level of integrity :grinning:
True, but it's just not me, my sign off is legendary and as a result it needs to be accurate.

You have some valid points except for the one Where we are supposed to sfu because it might scare potential coaches away.

First of all , coaches and potential coaches dont care what we say online. And if a coach cares what we fans have to say then that is one coach we dont want.

Pay has NFI how to coach. No use arguing with you because you see it a different way. And that's fair enough .We see the world from 2 different angles

Anyways at end of the year this will all be mute when Pay is gone.

***NEWSFLASH***
In a bold step, the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs have sacked their coach, Dean Pay, effective immediately and replaced him with the collective opinion of their supporter forum, The Kennel.
Immediate results are expected under the threat of permabans for any members ineffective suggestions.
The club expects to win all remaining matches and make the top 8 this season as a result.

We need a bigger coaching box first.

Can we clone him too?
Then we can run under the guise of "The Adam Elliot Show"
