I agree I don’t think you can necessarily sack a bloke for kissing his mates missus but you gotta think some of the playing group wouldn’t take too kindly to that sort of behaviour.
It’s definitely going to be a massive distraction that the team and club didn’t need. I agree with some of the posters suggesting a player swap or some form of release. The problem is Elliott’s reputation could make that difficult.

That’s true mate but busted kissing on the balcony... for starters it’s a terrible look when it’s one of your best mates and on top of that what if they weren’t caught? How far would they have gone? It’s not somebody I’d want to work with or hang around and I’m sure there is plenty in the squad who would feel the same way. Everyone makes mistakes but it’s a pretty grubby act.
Everyone’s suddenly so forgiving because it’s Lichaa on the end of it.

Happy to let others work out what or what didn't happen, however i would question why he would be out that late on the piss coming into the season, while still recovering from a major injury. Another one who wants to be paid like a professional and behave like a park footballer

I know people either love or hate Elliott but I feel like a lot of the hate has disappeared over the last ~9 months. It's a little disappointing to see all the cockroaches come out to bag Elliott's ability again because of this (I have no issue with bagging his morals, what he's done is wrong). You're also essentially saying our forward pack is shit and we currently have 3 forwards on more than Elliott is.

Yeah I think we would have to contribute to some of his salary in a swap to make it enticing for the other club but it might be worth it if could grab a player in a position we need more. We are actually well stocked in the back row at the moment.

It’s his morals and ethics that is being targeted. We all know he is a talented hard working footballer.

I don’t think the alleged incident itself is huge but you gotta think would Jacko do this? Or Bob Cat? What do his team mates think? I have my doubts he will ever become leadership material.

His mrs could be a massive skank and come onto a blind elliott. You’d think if Elliott was doing something lichaa would have attacked him and not chased his mrs and broken a window. Doesn’t add up
no excuse for either of them tbh..

Lichaa’s fiance tells police she was caught ‘making out’ with Elliott

Michael Lichaa’s fiance told police she was caught “making out” with his former Canterbury teammate Adam Elliott, although Lichaa’s lawyer claims the incident didn’t incite his client to assault either party.

Police were called to Lichaa’s rented home at Connells Point after a social gathering became heated. Lichaa was charged by police with common assault (domestic violence), destroying or damaging property (domestic violence) and stalking/intimidation causing fear of physical harm (domestic violence). The alleged victim for all three charges was his partner, Kara Childerhouse.

Lichaa, Childerhouse and their mutual friend, Bulldogs forward Elliott, had “consumed a large amount of alcohol”, according to court documents obtained by the Herald.
It’s alleged Lichaa and Childerhouse had an argument after she accused him of infidelity. An angry Lichaa went to sleep in their bedroom, while Childerhouse and Elliott remained awake.

About 4.30am on Sunday, Lichaa woke up. Unable to find Childerhouse, the Lebanon international rang her mother in a panicked state. It’s alleged he found Elliott and Childerhouse “kissing on the back deck”.
Lichaa is alleged to have chased Childerhouse into the street. She then locked herself in a room.

It is alleged Elliott and Lichaa were then involved in a heated confrontation. Lichaa punched four windows of the front door, causing deep lacerations to his forearm. He walked through several rooms, using a T-shirt to stem the flow of blood.
About 4.49am, Lichaa walked onto the street to call his father.

Several calls were made to triple zero by members of the public, one of whom allegedly heard a male voice say he was going to “kill her”.
Lichaa was arrested at the scene and taken by ambulance to St George Hospital to be treated for his injuries, before being returned to police custody.
Lichaa’s lawyer, Sam Saadat, said his client “did not hit anyone”.

“There was definitely no assault, that is completely and comprehensively denied,” Saadat told the Herald. ”He has not assaulted anyone, that is definitely our case.
“But he did see something that upset him and that has triggered the shouting and the yelling that caused the neighbours to call the police. The alleged victim and Adam didn’t call the police, they were called by the neighbours.

“The alleged victim will be in court to support Michael.”
Canterbury confirmed via a statement on Monday they were working with the NRL Integrity Unit.

“The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have overnight been made aware of an alleged incident involving Adam Elliott,” the statement read.
“The club has reported the matter to the NRL Integrity Unit and is currently working with them. The club is not in a position to comment further at this stage.”

Lichaa played 98 games for the Bulldogs before being cut loose at the end of 2019. He was granted bail and will appear at Sutherland Local Court on Wednesday, when the matter is due for mention.
Lichaa and Childerhouse were due to be married this year and Elliott had been asked to be a groomsman. The NRL Integrity Unit was poised to interview Elliott on Monday over his role in the incident.
That’s very different to them having sex in the bed, in the backyard, on the driveway, in the car. FFS it’s like that Shaggy song

Sounds like she kissed Elliott to get back at Lichaa for cheating on her

Licha has good mates in the club still it’s gonna cause a lot of issues and ruin our season if he stays

It doesn't paint Elliott in the best light and I feel bad for Lichaa to have all of this played out in the media.

But unless Baz or his teammates have an issue with Elliott, or the story becomes a distraction to the team, then I don't see this affecting his short term future with the club. I could see the club shopping Elliott down the road though if they've grown tired of his antics.

You'd deadset be paranoid every time the Bulldogs had a break and the players had time away from training and playing because Elliot needs minding like a kid. You'd need a minder around him during sponsored events too if there was alcohol available.
