When my grandma was alive our xmas's were massive parties ..with all her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cost her a fortune in pressies and she'd always sneak the kids an extra 20 bucks like she was doing a drug deal lol.

its been 8 years since she passed away and now our xmas's are more subdued but still busy with relo's just drifting in for a quick cheer after lunch.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!! Regardless of your faith persuasion..it's still at its core a wonderful message..of giving and love..so enjoy it with your family and friends..

Hey remember my 2014 Grand Final poem? Well I'm posting it again because it was based on the Christmas poem.. 'Twas the Night before Christmas..

Twas the night before the Grand Final..

'Twas the night before the big dance, when all through the dog house,
Not a Bulldog fan was stirring, not even a shout.
The Canterbury flags were hung throughout Belmore with care,
In hope that Des Hasler's men would bring back a premiership there.

The Kennel were nestled all snug in their beds,
With visions of the Burgess brothers getting smashed in their heads.
And Inglis dropping high balls, and playing real crap,
Reynolds never getting settled as he leaves a defensive gap.

Dreams of Graham charging up the middle causing havoc,
While his partner in crime, Toleman, also making Souths panic.
Away a stepping Lafai flying like a flash,
Going past the turnstile Keary as he goes for a dash.

But all those so called experts seem to know,
That the Bulldogs will be a no show.
The Johns boys and the rest of the media fear,
That the boys from Redfern already, should drink their winning beer.
But look at the Doggies forwards, so big and quick,
They will be even more determined now without Mighty Mick.
More tougher then nails, warriors not after fame,
All ready to fight for each other let's call out their name.

Go Graham, Mbye and Toleman,
Go T-Rex and Jackson,
Go Eastwood, Browne, Finucane Klemmer and Pritchard.
All ready to bash!
Oh it's going to be an almighty clash!

But do not forget those backs who score most tries,
From Perret, to Brown and Thompson who flies.
With Morris and Lafai both with speed to break through,
All set in motion by Reynolds and Hodkinson its true.

And then there's the mad professor up in the coach's booth,
Mighty Des Hasler, if there ever needs to be proof.
The greatest NRL coach going around,
I'm sorry Michael Maguire Des is ahead leaps and bounds.
.
So what ever game plan is took,
The resurgent Doggies need to follow it to the book.
Making sure they don't send it too early out the back,
Not before they dominate the Bunnies pack.

So Doggie fans make sure you get merry!
Let your voices be heard so your cheeks go cherry!
Open your mouth and be sure to let everyone know,
That you are fans of the Blue and White, let it show.
Especially if things start to go bad, grit those teeth,
Because you know the boys on the field won't go meek.
So yell hard from the bottom of your belly, but
Don't ever lose faith and go to jelly.

Those at the ground express your self,
Let Russ know it is passion that is a Kennelers wealth.
Those who listen to the commentators on TV and their Bulldogs dread,
Don't let it get inside your head.

Everyone enjoy the day and appreciate all the work,
To get this far, to be still in it on Grand Final days a perk.
Take that flag and wave it under a Bunny fans nose,
As you tell them, from outside the top four the Bankstown boys rose.

So when you wake in the morning spring to your feet,
Don't even contemplate a thought of defeat.
Yell it out loud until your throat is sore,

"2014 is the year, of The Dogs of War'!!!!

Shame it wasn't the Doggies Christmas that day!

Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Decorations, lights, the carols and the crooners singing the classic Christmas songs.

Have my father in law's side before Christmas, my mother in law's side in Christmas eve and then going to mum's on Christmas night. Might go to my cousin's Christmas morning.

I'll either go church on Christmas eve or some time Christmas day.

Hi guys,
It's December now, so officially the Christmas period,

So I thought I'd start a thread to wish everyone a merry Christmas.

Even to those of us including myself who are not nessesarily of the Christian faith.

It's an awesome time of year guys,

Please feel free to fill us in on your plans over Christmas, what your doing in terms of decorations, and lighting, food, family catch ups, all the good stuff,

No doubt the bah hum bugs will post some negative posts,
Lol, those are usually funny,

But try to keep it respectful guys for the practicing Christians,

And on them, feel free to remind us of the real meaning of Christmas.
I love Christmas, the only time of the year, that I take couple weeks holidays. Merry Christmas to everyone and stay safe

Christmas is hard in a Lebo family there's so many relatives to visit, we used to have a huge Christmas party at one persons house and the whole family there they used to be the best.
