Hi guys,
It's December now, so officially the Christmas period,

So I thought I'd start a thread to wish everyone a merry Christmas.

Even to those of us including myself who are not nessesarily of the Christian faith.

It's an awesome time of year guys,

Please feel free to fill us in on your plans over Christmas, what your doing in terms of decorations, and lighting, food, family catch ups, all the good stuff,

No doubt the bah hum bugs will post some negative posts,
Lol, those are usually funny,

But try to keep it respectful guys for the practicing Christians,

And on them, feel free to remind us of the real meaning of Christmas.

Exactly the same, lol,

Christmas tree will be up this week,
Presents will be bought,
Kids will get photos with Santa,
Good food will be eaten,
Christmas carols sung,
Alchohole consumed,

Some form of drama with a family member, you know, the norm haha

You don't have to be Christian to enjoy Christmas, or enjoy the festivities,
I enjoyed Ramadan festivities in high school when it was celebrated,
I went to punchbowl boys high,
I remember it being celebrated, at the end there was a big assembly with singing and dancing and then food in the playground and it was heaps of fun, everyone got into it, the Asians, Anglos, Samoans, everyone,

Hell, I'm not really a Christian, I still enjoy Christmas, and nothing wrong with wishing anyone a merry Christmas even if your not Christian,

So don't be shy mate,

Put up a tree, let the kids sit on Santa lap for a photo,

Edit,
Just noticed your last post Indian dog,

Good on you, try something new, put up a tree, the kids will love it,

It's all good mate,
Nothing wrong with sharing festivities,

merry christmas and a happy new year to all the kennelers and their families play hard and stay safe eat lots and enjoy.

just a little reminder that while a lot of us love this time of year and celebrate it with family and friends, there are many people who have no one to celebrate christmas with and this time of the year is very hard for them.

Good point,
When I was a kid, an old lady lived a few doors up, had no family, or non that visited, so we use to invite her to our place for lunch,
It meant so much to her,

Merry christmas bitches.
I enjoy Christmas now that I have a kid who understands it.
Up till now Christmas was a chore, go here, go there spend money, more money, more money.
Can't wait for this year.
