In other threads when Averillo has a shit game you say he’s not a half it’s not his fault bla bla bla. Now you reckon this dud is gonna partner Burton? C’mon!! That’s bullshit and you know it. Not kicking threat can’t organise shit. Rarely takes the line on and when he does score he’s simply just there in support. He’s not the answer. ***** need to get off his cock
Lol zero clue, get with the times old man.

Burton is left side dominant so we would need Lewis to be able to play on the right side.

Undeniably played well but he still is fucking rubbish and not the answer. Especially next year.
Cuz I’m hearing ya. I really am. But for what we got you think Averillo deserves to be 7 next year. Tell me Lewis doesn’t get the go ahead simply on kicking and defence alone. Gus isn’t stupid. He knows

Lewis deserves MOM for today's game but that does not fucking mean he's the answer for next year.

Burton will be the one leading the team and has a bigger more accurate boot than lewis.

All the rest are not good enough to partner burton, we're in the market for a half partner to burton and by signing Lewis we clog our salary cap. We need to start letting them go as their contracts expire
No one’s claiming he’s definitely the long term answer champ, settle down.

There is nobody on the market. Pearce is broken and Brooks is a lateral move. THERE IS NO ONE
Players often become available, contracts mean nothing. You already have Flanno and Wakeham signed next year which we’re not getting rid of, you sign Lewis and you’re tying up more cap space. Have faith in Gus to point us in the right direction.

Not my job. We will never be contenders if we think like amatuers.
The club should move heaven and earth to sign a 7.
Roosters. Storm get shit done. Thats why they are winners
Okay fair enough that would be the best outcome. But for WGAT WE HAVE NOW Lewis is the most deserving. Please read the capitals carefully. Not saying he’s the long term answer but he is the best of a bad bunch

It's too little too late for Lewis. He always plays hard. I respect that. He has some skill which shows from time to time. But he's proven in four seasons that he's not a FG player. The fact that no other clubs are chasing him should make that clear.

He is OFF contract and people want to re-sign him.

For what exactly? How long is lewis going to accept? Minimum 2 years? So then we've clogged our cap with both lewis and Flanagan, which then limits our options to spend?

So yes by re-signing him you are suggesting a long term future.

He won’t be retained but he was easily one of our best tonight

Kicking game was good (bombs and field position) and varied with assist to Meaney and OK

Tackled his backside off and little effort plays like trapping the kick with his leg and chasing from marker etc etc
