Agree with above. He has the ability to lose us a game, he won't win us a game.

He is really a hooker just filling in the halfback role. In fact, we really are just playing with 3 hookers - Ennis, Reynolds and Keating with Graham and Kasiano playing half and 5/8.

I'd rather Romelo just for the shear fact he has mongrel and WILL rip in and have a go, which fires up the team. Keating is very quite and can't fire up the team with a solid tackle!

I don't see how Romelo was better in the previous week. We just had weaker opposition and we started the other games onfire

Actually we performed much better when he was quiet yesterday, he made 2 errors that led to the first 2 broncos tries, and from then on, was silent and allowed for Reynolds to take command.

Have you heard of the concept of duality ? Reynolds does one thing wrong however compensates for 1000 things EPIC....

Keating does nothing spectacular. So when you are that sort of player you have to accept that fact !

Keating will come good he may not be at 100% after three weeks out. Romelo is our 3rd string halfback he was never a permanant option anyone who thought he would take keatings spot long term is fooling themselves but to say he ads very little is pretty harsh he is a Hooker anyway. Players like Romelo and Reynolds are entertainers who put bums on seats whether you like them or not.

We don't need him to be 'spectacular' but he has been very solid this year disregarding yesterday's match where he was a bit rusty after a stint on the sidelines.

Keating's defence on the line was horrible, Reynolds has really improved on his defence.

Not even comparing the two. Point is, people are always ready to heap praise on their Kennel favourites and get all pissy when people mention their faults. On the other hand guys like KK are constantly bagged out regardless of how well they play. Undoubtedly Keating played poorly yesterday because he was rusty after coming back from an injury. But how often did you see him get any credit when we were winning. If a Kennel favourite played like Keating yesterday people would afford the excuse that he was rusty, without hesitation. Why doesn't that benefit apply for Keating.

KK got better as the game wore on. He was def slow to start in the game though. Yeh Reynolds will try things that fail to, but if you dont try that stuff, the ones that stick that we score off wont happen. If that kick out to Perrett had hit Perrett on the chest he had a chance to scoot down the sideline. He was out by a few feet but and the kick was a little strong. Idea was good. I expect KK will improve and i was happy with how he was going pre injury. Dont forget who is coach. He will get him right.

I also like Romelo as a player, but dont like him as a fulltime halves player. He will do for backup in that pos. Hes super sub

We lost nothing from our side with Keating injured. Romelo slotted in just fine and the win streak continued.

Keating comes back, 3 F ups costing us 14 points in 20 minutes, and it's up to Barba to get us back in the game. Morris barely saw the ball under either.

As I said in the finals if Keating plays like he did in the first 20 minutes against someone like Manly, everyone will be asking why we didn't play Romelo.
