I couldn’t have asked for much more, 18 years of aged didn’t put a foot wrong and you could tell he was nervous. You could see it at one point last tackle he hesitated to kick and got the ball to Burton. Physically he handled first grade, few nice touches thought defensively he was fine and seems to be quick between the ears. We have to ease him in wouldn’t start him how Ciraldo approached it was perfect. Reynolds and Burton in the halves went well imo, or was that because flannagan was so poor.

I wouldnt be expecting him to be like our starting 6 in a few weeks or anything, but its great that he can come off the bench and get a taste, as part of his development. Have a feeling he might come off the bench more often going forward.

It was a very good debut, he looked comfortable and confident out there and was a threat most times he ran it. He was strong and involved in defence as expected. He's only scratching the surface of what he can do..
