He might be an immortal and captained his club, state and country. .. but can he coach?

No one read or dissects a play like he does.

you havent seen him on TV doing it before the games?

I agree on that, but a brilliant player and analysts does automatically equal a good teacher or coach.

not sure, but at least he ticks one big box of pointing out the mistakes and areas for improvement in our halves and ways to improve them plus how to kick goals.

Second, he knows opposition plays and weakness and how to exploit them more than we have seen from the super coach.

He can teach our players to run new lines..

And even teach them some things ON the field too!

I think we had him here once before and he got the flick. Also punted at Parramatta and Manly.

I think johns could go ok because he is the most vocal about our halfs, he always gives it to reynolds.

He was a master of kicking the ball. He has improved cherry Evans and forans kicking game and play close to the line immensely. This is an area where MBye and Reynolds could definitely improve. Joey had the ball on a string when he played. I think if he could teach our halves to actually ball play rather then work of second phase the dogs would be a juggernaut with our forwards and edge runners. I would basically be ringing him now

Why are these comments so sour?

We simply do not have the cattle to beat the cap cheating rorters. If you can't see that the Rorters are cheating the cap, then join good old Dave Smith and Greenturd in applauding them when they win the comp in 9 days!
And a lot of other teams accuse bulldogs of the same shit... Same old complaint from fans they just be cheating if there doing well, its ridiculous

Joey, God love him, has almost worked with more clubs than Willie Mason.
Save the money and use it for Gatorade and magic sponges.
This guy is over-rated and has been punted more often than a gridiron footy.
His immortal status is highly questionable, apparently dodging drug tests and popping whatever seemed to be overlooked.
I say take on Andrew, as a waterboy, to take to the field with Gallen's peptides.

Lets face it, if Ray Hadley is part of the selection panel for an immortal, then Andrew should be the messiah.

So he's like Gordan Tallis?

If our game plan doesn't change ie. our forwards getting the ball at first receiver on tackles 1 through 5, it won't mean jack who is coaching our halves....
