All very well saying get rid of every ****, but do we sign .????
And what makes you think they will want to come ??..
And if they are any good, don’t you think every other club will be chasing them ????
Before you jump out of the plane, check there is a parashute

Agree 100%. Looking at our 3 wins and other competitive games only Mbye really contributed. Woods and Mbye bad attitude most games, Foran is a real trier but busted.

Look how Suffs have turned the corner since they just beat us. Same squad as last year, just added Gagai but vastly different attitude bought about by a new coach. Woods and Foran were mistakes. Anyone else interested in them? If not keep them but redesign their roles so we get the best out of them.

Why don't we just keep what we've got and work them into a cohesive unit. It doesn't happen overnight.
At the beginning of the season most expected us to be competitive but not worldbeaters. The crackdown on penalties has caught us out and made us vulnerable, but we can adapt. I'm happy to wait, and enjoy the odd win.

if Jackson doesn't put more efforts in like he did on the weekend I can't see him being a priority and it's looking likely that he won't make game 1 for Origin

Yes, our current situation people saying release player A & B and we can sign others its just not htat simple. We need to shed $$$, we release someone doesnt mean we have a bag of money.
WE let these guys go we WILL be paying for them to play against us, need to think about that if its worth it or not.
No one will pay 900k for Mbye, 800K for Woods or Foran. We get rid of 2 of them would only free up one of their contracts youd think if your lucky. And with that we are only going to sign minimum wage players to fill the numbers??
Hope all this shit aint true.

As I understand it. We are currently paying half of Kasiano, Graham & Perretts wages out of our cap.
Perrett is in his 2nd year at Manly so no way.
He was on peanuts anyway.

Lloyd signed a four year deal with us in 2014. So we are still paying a percentage until the end of this year.

Perrett was on a lot more than you think. A Des special.
Des specials are what makes me think backended contracts are only half the problem and players like Elliott, Tolman and Holland are on massive overs.

Why do people say get rid of this guy or that guy and spend it on a stud player?

If reports are correct if we got rid of foran or Mbye we would have 1.6 or 1.8 million to spend on 15 players. And that’s if we don’t have to pay any of their contract to get rid of them. We have no money to spend on a decent first grader like Sezer let alone a stud. We are fucked thanks to previous management.

Last in First out!

Woods & Foran

PS, didn't the NRL say that they wouldn't register their contracts if it was going to cause the Bulldogs to exceed the salary cap? A salary cap in 2019 that we still do not know what it is. This is poor management. Firstly from the NRL for taking so long to get the 2018 cap sorted & haven't told us the 2019 cap yet & then from Des, Dib & Raels

Yourve lost your marbles do u even watch the game. No player in the nrl consistently bustes there arse like jacko. So he made a few errors in first couple of games he is human. He has been nsw best player for last 3 years and u reckon let him go. Get off the drugs and get a job u clown.

Erm releasing a player doesn't magically make the salary cap problem go away. Anyone we release we will definitely be paying part of their contract.

Releasing Woods, Klemmer, Foran or Mbye = Goodbye attack.

Jacksons playing like shit this year so far.
Your on drugs too jackson has been playing fine, not at his best but still better than the rest of em. U run at him.some of u must not even watch the games. Only bloke in side that hits hard, the rest of em are twice his size and hit like pussies.

I think Hoppa and Tolman are the obvious ones to go. Apparently Hopoate is backended.

The problem with releasing Woods or Foran is that they have long term deals. We would probably have to pay for a large part of the 3 years left for Woods and 2 years for Foran. Will not help us in the long term. Much better to get rid of the players that have only 1 year left.

I'm merely pointing out that he's not as good as he once.

The Raiders are a very interesting one.

They have Blake Austin, Aiden Sezer, Jnr Paulo, Josh Papalii, Soliola and Shannon Boyd off contract this year.

As far as I am aware Jnr Paulo will be going to the eels next year and Papalii & Boyd have been told that they wont be getting what they are after.

You would presume Ata Hingano will play in the halves next year and you question why Sezer and/or Austin have not been re-signed by now?

Is it possible that Pay & Sticky who have a great relationship between each other are "possibly" brokering some deals to get both clubs out of shit?

Tolman, Foran and/or Woods to Canberra?

Sezer to Dogs?

Seems like alot of articles about our cap situation but there is alot of key players in the nations capital who are off contract and have not been re-signed?

Something does not sound right?
Foran will not be leaving Sydney.
