Appeared to pick up an injury last night. Hope it's not serious.

That was one of the most pleasing aspects of the game..20 offloads in a single game....

It was amazing the offloads we got away and the fact that they were actually planned and not panicked as in the past. If we can keep that going and make them count we will be right up there.
Yep. Even Hethrington was looking to get them away but he played safe which was pleasing to see.

A recruitment masterstroke. I had little knowledge of him until we signed him but he has been a revelation. Early candidate for buy of the year.

Bennett is sure to be sniffing around......but King feels that he owes us for helping him resurrect his playing career, no other team was willing to take a gamble on him, no other team even considered him. King was contemplating retirement.... King was out of the game for up to 18 months. He thought his playing career was over until Baz and Gould threw him a life line. I'd say when the time comes for an upgrade or when others come sniffing around King will always take into consideration what our club has done for him. He is an intelligent kid with a good head on his shoulders.
I hope so, love his effort and commitment to the team so far

There's a bit of Jason Stevens about him.

He was great tonight. Loving the offloads that him and TPJ offer our side.
Another that's getting better as well is Hetherington. Gets his arms free with good control for an offload. something Dufty and avo need to be more aware with a
on the right edge.
But overall so happy with how our plays our improving and better execution will come.

Hetherington had a few drops eary on, but made up for it and had some very good carries towards the end of the game. He has reignedbin his anger issues and discipline thus far too.
We are definitely looking better with every game. Way better then the doom and gloom so many were predicting after a trial loss.

Very impressed with Max King! Is it just me or does he sound pommy when he speaks?

This bloke has gone up a level since all the praise for his work off the bench early in the season. Now starting at lock, he played 58 minutes today, ran over 170, 77pcm, consistently wins the ruck with ball in hand, 39 tackles no misses, and covered a lot of ground in defence, and towards the end of the game has the drive and awareness to support Docker-Clay off the back of original Wadell offload, grab the offload of ZDC, and provide his own to Flanagan and be a key part of the try of the season.

Needs to be locked in long term, value buy of the season for us.

Hopefully Thompson doesn't bench him when he returns or eats into too many of his minutes.

He has been very impressive and had a great game today

Now that he is stringing together some games after a terrible run of injuries he is showing signs of how good he could actually become

He could make a great number 13 for us and a possible leader down the track in a few years time if he keeps improving

He's rubbish. He can't even do a backflip after doing something good. Aside from that he doesn't have a beard or hectic tats. If all he has is quality go forward, a good offload and very solid defence on the back of a big motor, I don't see what the fuss is.

It's no coincidence that since King has moved to lock, our attack has looked a lot better. His passes are so much sharper than Jackson's and he makes a much bigger impact. He's always looking to offload and is a very good defender who always wraps up the ball and makes good contact.

King and Kiraz have been the two bargain buys of the season from Gus. I'm glad both have been extended. They've both proven they're starting players and have taken their opportunity which you love to see.

Reminds me a bit of Glen Lazarus. Has a great offload in his game. Lots of upside. Definitely could become a future leader.

So impressed with this kid. Runs hard, makes meters and offloads.

He has a bright future. Can definitely see him playing origin. Kudos to whoever recruited him.
A couple of those offloads were done with the confidence and precision of a much more experienced player. He's definitely becoming a fan favourite.
