The only explanation I would have "if" Fitler was going to be our coach and he dropped Foxx, is that we are paying foxx too much in his and Gus options & they want him gone because of Salary cap space.

I hope I'm wrong, but I am starting to get the feeling that the appointment of our new coach, is going to be massively screwed up. When presented with a range of choices, I can see one of the worst choices being made, setting back the recovery further years. When names like Madge and Fittler are being bandied about, someone has lost the plot. Hopefully this is either a smoke screen, or filler, due to lack of available genuine information.

How is talking in the media multiple times about a job you haven't got yet a good thing? How is talking about how you'd make your son a better player when the club wants to get rid of him a good thing?

How does that help the club or not piss off anyone at the club? I get everyone wants Flanagan, but people are ignoring the obvious just because they want him..

If Flanagan can't control himself before he has the job, how difficult is he going to be to work with if he gets it? Those are the questions people at the club would rightfully be asking because of his comments.

he should've just his mouth after the expression of interest and just waited it out. wouldve got the job almost 100% i reckon but instead he yapped to anyone and everyone (including me on instagram) and pissed the club off. like father like son huh?

Freddy is experienced nrl coach at Roosters remember.

He sure did, from 2007 to 2009 for 58 games in which he won a magnificent 43% and in the last year they won the wooden spoon. Same win loss record 43% with City from 2012 to 2017, better than the 40% with Lebanon. In fact the only team he has coached with a better than even record is NSW at 58% which is hardy a recommendation considering the quality of players at his disposal.
