Honest it's a curly one for the Dogs only because there's not a heap of decent coaches around. Toovey's a passionate little bloke and not scared to call players out or try being their bestie (as some of my kids say).

Gus brought Flanno over to you guys in 04 as the Holden Cup coach and was undefeated. They are mates that still keep in constant contact.

There's a difference between them having a good relationship and them being able to work together or if their egos would clash. Look at Gus and Stuart for example. They were close before and then had a massive public falling out after their time at the Roosters.
