What exactly do you expect from him? Miracles? There are a few that constantly bag him, but to be honest he has ingerited a rabble and sadly its just going to take time. For this reason he deserves to be given a fair hearing until things improve.
Are you saying that nobody can do a better job than dean pay with what we've got?

Anyhow my point is theyve come out and said Dean Pay is supported even though all our players have regressed.. Are we expected to believe that it's just a coincidence.

I know that I'm sounding like a broken record, but I'll say it again:

For those idiots who think the Bulldogs have had any chance this year... LOL. Before the season even start, 2018 was to be a building year. The team don't care, and neither do the players. Give credit where it's due though, as 7 games have been lost by 6 points or less - not all losses have been total blowouts. Pay is cleaning up after Haslers mess, and you are as blind as a bat if you can't see that. That's why players are being released. He knows what he's doing, and the board know this. This year is a write-off, he's working towards the future. This bunch of players he has are Des Hasler's formation, not his.

Brother while Lichaa's form has been questionable, everyone thought that he's game would change under Pay. Obviously that hasn't worked out, but look at who our halves are.

as bad a situation it is.. We could still offer more... we haven't changed anything from last year, especially 5th tackle options
Exactly, some people can't accept this. We have a massive loser culture around the club atm and people are happy to throw out every excuse possible rather than face reality.

Pay was brought here for change, yet he hasn't changed a thing. He hasn't demonstrated any sort of ability as a coach and looks completely out of his depth, his pressers are just embarrassing to watch. The bloke only has the job because he's an ex dog, no other club would even contemplate signing him.

True mate. The halves are the soul of the team.

Look at Bellemey, Brodie croft had a shocker, he was dumped from FG, yet Croft is probably better than all our halves at Canterbury. Who do we have to replace Frawley and JMK with...please don't say Foran(even worse than Frawley, offers nothing).
You can practice your drills a thousand times at training but if your halves shit themselves during the game, then they just don't have it.

Have a look at how Maloney plays, the guy has an absolute hard on for the game...runs on to the ball with pace and kicks at the same time on the 5th and drills it into the corners. Continually talks on the field, doesn't shut up.
How many times do you see Maloney run sideways? Never. He's always straightening the attack, plays his guts out for the entire 80 mins. Have you seen frawley after a game, he looks like he's been 15 rounds with Mike Tyson, gassed, tired, tripping over himself, blood on his face etc.

Fifth tackle options come from your halves. Did you see Frawley and JMK's dud kicks on the weekend.
Is that Dean Pay kicking it out on the full? Is that Dean Pay kicking the ball dead? These guys have been playing footy all their lives, it's not Dean's fault these guys are spastics.
Do you think Brent Sherwin was taught by Folkes how to kick?
Kicking on the 5th should come naturally to these idiots.
If our kicking game was on point we would of won a few more games and be in the running for the top eight.

Hey Frawley...want to be a good kicker, do what Andrew Johns and Cooper Cronk used to do, practice kicking in your own time, extras....wanna be the best at something, keep doing it over and over until you master it...just ask the top halves what they used to do. Imagine how many extra points we would of scored had our kicking been on point.

It's up to the coach to put the attacking structures and game plan in place

I don’t understand how some are using our halves attacking game (lack thereof) on the weekend to justify Pays frailties as a coach (admittedly a rookie coach)

The biggest issue on the weekend was the 22 points leaked on the left (26 in total) but you could argue the try on the right (Sami) due to incompetence on the left to mop up a kick that ricochet back to Taylor

The point is 22 points plus 4 clean line breaks that almost resulted in tries and Pay did absolutely nothing to address the problem

A park footy coach would have made the necessary adjustments to either the personnel on the left edge or reverted back to a defensive structure that worked better than his

It's not Pays fault Frawley can't kick for shit, but it is his fault that we play ONE OUT TRASH footy.

Pay said he wanted us to hurt in defense, we don't.

Pay said we will play an attacking brand of footy. Well 1 2 3 4 one out carries does not equal "attacking " footy.

And it’s up to the players to execute them.
Are you suggesting that the players are executing well ? That pay has asked them to kick it out on the full, kick it dead, throw forward passes, miss tackles and drop the ball ?

Lol.. so it's purely coincidental that last night someone posts up saying someone should write an article about Des, Castle, and Hasler.. and today the magical media elves with mind reading abilities happen to write this.

Pro Tip: Nicks a member here, and his sisters playing future is in the very hands of the club he's blowing smoke up the arse of.

You don't shit in your own kennel.

Fear and Loathing at Belmore:
Des Hasler, Ray Dib and Raelene Castle should never work in Rugby League again. They should all consider themselves lucky they are not in jail though, in Castle’s case, she is suffering a fate far worse than prison: rugby union. Their wilful mismanagement of Canterbury’s salary cap and roster situation has done so much damage to the club that the Bulldogs have no real alternative but to grit their teeth, swallow their pride and endure a Newcastle-like complete rebuild. The Bulldogs can look inside the chest but they won’t anything … the club has been plundered by Dib’s thirst for politics, Hasler’s desire for total control and Castle’s sheer and utter incompetence. From backended deals that will see someone as ordinary as Greg Eastwood paid $800,000 a year to the seven-figure deal to bring in a “star” half who can hardly walk, to six years of pathway neglect and no player development, the trio have looted and torched a proud club. Let’s not talk about monies given to Tony Williams and opportunities to denied to Damien Cook.

The Bulldogs have not historically been a two-bit operation. For so long, they have been one of the best managed organisations in the premiership. Peter Moore is arguably the greatest administrator in Rugby League history. They will now have to endure three and maybe four seasons anchored in the bottom four. They will start short-priced favourites for the wooden spoon next year. They will be paying probably 6-8 players to play at other clubs, maybe the best 6-8 players. It is the only way to rebuild now.

The appetite for such a rebuild was there for all to see on Saturday at Belmore when less than 7000 fans turned up. The Bulldogs were favoured but turned in their worst performance of the year.

The club is back in the right hands. If any team will have the patience of rebuild it is Lynne and Chris Anderson. They have backed coach Dean Pay and CEO Andrew Hill. All are realists. They know the predicament they have entered. It Is just unfortunate that it took such horrific circumstances to give the levers of power at the club back to good people.

Please...We supporters do not need this political circus to continue, and any decent fan should wish the new board all the success in bringing our club back to greatness.
BUTT...
Why are you kissing the boards Ass, the same people that deserted us when it suited them ???
Why do you intentionally not mention the The One and only The Fourth Musketeer Todd Greenturd, The one that introduced to our club and in full control the HASLER Plague ???
Let me remind you...This club has been in a lot worse situations before and always managed to come out triumphant...This time is no different !!!

Good teams have "GOOD HALVES" & smart hookers. Unfortunately we have neither.

That's precisely his point.
Apart from Parra, NO OTHER TEAM in the NRL commits as many fundamental errors in 80 minutes as we do.
Our attacking raids all come a cropper through poor kicking, dropped ball, forward passes, DEFINITELY missed tackles (count the stats over the year - EDGE DEFENCE - I'm talking about you!).
And YES. It IS the coach's job to eliminate the blunders.
Pay has had 15 rounds to fine tune all this crap.
His record speaks for itself.
