Im not sure what the rules are to bring him across as a coach and he plays hb for us for 1-2 years as well. There might be dispensation on the salary cap.Mentors our halves and then stays on as coach.
Des im afraid is damaged goods as a coach. The guy has gone from legend to myth.
He was brought over to do a job and has failed. We are paying him big money for his acheivements at manly. Im tired of hearing him referred to as our premiership winning coach.

We dont even know if he can coach yet. So many great players are shit coaches. Some of the best coaches were nothing players.
