@04 Dreaming Some of us focus on the topics and raise concerns that it's not going to end well. We are allowed to do this.

Whenever people question the narrative they cop a tirade of abuse some even go to extremes. Seems like the yes campaign and that failed miserably despite all momentum.

I will re-post my comments re Connor Tracey.

27 years old. 66 NRL games. 27 Tries.

Jake Averillo is only 23 years old. He's played 78 NRL games. He's scored 31 tries. He's scored 21 tries in the last 2 seasons.

We flicked Averillo who's 4 years younger and already has more games.

People are calling this a rebuild. The signs are there it isn't. We have every right to air concerns.

Averillo should have been a central figure of any rebuild.

The other point I'm raising is the Top 30 roster is currently exhausted. To sign any player for 2024 will either have to involve a reasonable trade or involve another contract being written off as a bad investment. Too many contracts have been written off it's a concern. Again raising points not trolling.

I don't think we have the cap space to write off contracts or RFM be gone by now. RFM isn't gone.

I also raised every signing except for Crichton been unwanted by their former clubs. This is not trolling. This is legitimate concerns.

Does the pursuit of Tracey and the flagging of Burton to centre mean the club is now having some doubt whether Xerri is going be right for 2024?

Signing Xerri for 2 years on top 30 was a massive risk. No other club showed serious interest. Market value 1 year on train & trial or development.

In another thread I raised concerns about Ciraldo's tactics 2 games in a row an outside back went down, both games a specialist 5/8 was on the bench and in both games a forward Topine was thrown to the wolves. Burton both games should have pushed out to the centres as a stop gap. Ciraldo gets a free pass. Topine gets savaged to pieces. Who's got the agendas?
Most of what you just said is wrong and you’re assuming that’s what happened.

We haven't really landed experience. Only 2 players with over 100 games we signed Crichton exactly 100 and Mann who Newcastle showed the door too. We have tried to release 2 players with over 100 NRL/SL games Sutton and RFM.

Davey and Pele signed in 2022 by Gould. Bad investments.

TPJ was the first player signed by Gould.

The moment Gould arrived he's had sole absolute control over every recruitment and retention decision. It's 1-person operation.

Khoury and Barrett signed Allan, Flanagan and Hetherington.

The Anderson's signed Napa and Cotric.
Polly want a cracker keep repeating the same shit over and over.

@04 Dreaming We make the same mistakes over and over again. The real fans highlight this and can see something isn’t adding up. The club is a shadow of its once self.

What I find amusing actually disappointing is we can’t review the performances of those like Gould, Khoury, Ciraldo, Mahoney, Kikau and Burton - all on massive coin in the same breath it’s absolute open hate season on the likes of RFM, Topine, Averillo, JMK, Potter and I’m sure others too.

Something isn’t going right at the NRL with all the constant turnover of players and releasing players before their contracts expire. It’s not a situation of players nearing the end and can score an end of career deal. Most of our signings for next year are rejects from other clubs who they didn’t want. Crichton the exception and we paid overs for him.

Someone highlighted we couldn’t sign players before Gould. Actually Barrett for all his coaching flaws was able to land players. It was Barrett who signed Burton and Fox before Gould came. When we signed Cotric he was a current international and Allan was a current origin player. We just destroyed both of them.

I won’t resort to personal abuse of others. I understand they want success and blindside themselves from the faults hoping that every signing proves to be gold standard. They hold out hope it’s a rebuild rather than panic quick fix signings. So it’s one way traffic rather than digesting every situation. They also hold out hope that Gould has some magic tricks up his sleeve. Gould was a good coach in the 1990s. Gould had many strengths he also has some flaws. He also needs to be accountable for his performances. He also needs to be used in his strengths and removed from his weaknesses. Penrith realised this. Penrith realised for them to go to the next level he needed to be either moved sideways or removed.
We can't?
Fuck that, watch this!
Gould 7/10
Khoury 8.5/10
Ciraldo 7.5/10
Mahoney 9/10
Kikau 6/10
Burton 6.5/10

Now they've been rated, what next?

Moderators should clearly remove such dribble, 5 posts of the same shit every thread Urgh
How do you think most people feel when you have a clown crew repeating their shit in every post?
Are you happy for them to say on a public forum that the club makes money of people’s misery?

It’s hard to work out why tigers are freeing up cap space to sign a guy we have already signed on overs isn’t it? Maybe you should jump on their forum and share your inside mail you gave us here.
Must be all that ‘criticsl thinking’ :tearsofjoy:.

It’s discussion, they post a point with backing logic. Writing scum isn’t discussion lmao
One word summarises and responds to the several paragraphs others write. If anything it’s genius

Sheesh Polly :-).

1) Averillo vs Tracey is about money. Tracey would be on nowhere near ~$400k Averillo is alleged to have got from the team of @04 Dreaming. Simples.

2) Really gotta admire your roster prowess, so OBVIOUSLY if further roster changes are made it has to be on both sides - in and out. Sheesh.

3) Who said anything about 'writing off' contracts including RFM? If anything you pay some freight like many clubs do. Sheesh.

4) 'Unwanted by their former clubs' - I guess so were Alamoti, Flanagan, Waddell and several others. Again - both ways. Sheesh.

5) Xerri - why would anyone 'have doubts' in Week 2 of pre-season? It's just nonsense speculation. Why was he a 'massive risk' - he'd have cost next to nothing. We signed him in November 2022 - as soon as he became eligible for 2024 pending his ban ending which it did. How do you know 'no other club showed serious interest'? You don't. Maybe we were just 'first in, best dressed'. Sheesh.

6) CIraldo was a first year head coach. Mistakes plenty. Lots of lessons, one hopes better in Year 2 and has brought in assistants to help with that. Who says Topine was 'savaged' apart from Rothfield? You don't know. Sheesh.

Sheesh. Polly want a cracker? :-).
