There’s been many wrong decisions made by Gould. He shouldn’t have sole and total control of the club. His role should be more defined, more specific and in his strengths. His weakness is NRL, recruitment and retention. We need the board, coach and recruitment manager to lead in this direction. Our recruitment manager is effectively beong paid for a holiday as Gould does it all. So let’s find a new and effective one.

@TheSexDogs made in a yesterday Ciraldo wanted to keep Averillo and we know Gould didn’t. These are the issues that brought coaches undone at Penrith until Cleary version 2 stepped in and said enough is enough. The coaches want one player and Gould go elsewhere.

Many Gould signings and retentions have gone before they’ve finished the contract. It’s not just 1-2 the list is growing. No matter whether we het them cheap it eats away at the cap. Two they can’t get rid of Sutton and RFM both signed or retained by Gould. We can’t write off RFM this means we on the edge of the cap.

The signing of the coach wasn’t a good one.

Gould has lots of strengths use him in the strengths.
It’s so easy in hindsight …

There are logical reasons for a lot of what your talking about here @Flanagun

But it’s a waste of time explaining them to you, you have a closed mind on the reality of the situation ….

People have taken the time to explain a lot of the reasons behind these decisions before, but you don’t take any of it on board … you just come back with the same old negative chit … in other words the way you see things are right, and anything else is wrong ..

Closed mind, and can’t see the bigger picture … just you do you, but know that we see you for what you are ..

People who think for themselves and go against the narrative are labeled trolls and other stuff. Happened when people questioned covid, lockdowns, vaccines and masks. Same at Bulldogs. Anyone who questions or points out wrong decisions by Gould (the club is now Gould) gets shot down, abused and labeled either a fake fan or troll for daring to question the narrative.

The likes of Gould and Reynolds have left for the money before whats to say they won’t again?
Nah. You trolls have been copping your own medicine as members here are tired of your dribble. You particularly have only started posting in the past couple of weeks proudly supporting your clown gang. Don’t play the victim. You’re part of the problem

So many different Gus accounts and profile pictures I lose sight of them all spitting out the same messages. It's surely "King Gus" with many different user names :grinning:

I have no problem with players being rejected. However, there needs to be some plan to replace such player.
There doesnt seem to be a plan as there is no players available.
Surely Waddell is better than most of these new guys who have never played NRL.

The constant turnover of players and contracted players looking over their shoulders on isn't healthy for anyone. The club needs stability. The club needs to only do strategic targeting of players not targeting literally every player. The club needs to focus on retention and promotion with slight additions from outside. That's how a DNA is built from within. We are CB. We never tried to be anyone else.

Roosters aside all other clubs don't have 20 elite players on the roster. Roosters only have 26 of the top 30 spots filled. They don't even bother filling the last 4 until the last possible minute. That's how they get around so much of the cap. We have all 30 filled and we've written off a lot of bad investments just to get to 30. Lots of spots are still by promotions and those who are part of the furniture. Lets create a problem so we can boast how we fix it when it creates further problems. Spend our way out of trouble.

I’m glad you’re not managing the roster. If you think clubs especially the roosters manage their cap by filling the last 4 spots at the last minute you should probably turn your phone off and pay more attention to your classroom.

All good rosters. Roosters have the most talented. Roosters also have the least in Top 30. This means they aren't paying 30 players for the November to March period unless a bonanza signing lands up.

He did, but I don’t think centre was his position. He should have been fullback but come to grade not physically ready for 1st grade. He got moved around a lot. If he was in the system when he had good 1st graders to learn from he would be a better player. His timing was unfortunate for him.
He's got most of the attributes for fullback.

He's just getting to the point now where he's getting over his aversion to getting hit hard by a defender or throwing himself at a hard running opponent. I don't blame him, but it held him back as much as any coach could.

Task number one for Skeletor is toughening him up. Getting him more competent and confident in defence. Averillo has grown as a player. Just needs to take the last leap and trust that he can take a hit and keep injecting himself into the game. If he adds that to his game he'll be far more valuable.

Did he mention how he spent most of his time in Marquee nightclub pounding his liver on the weekends after games?
If this is true then that’s shocking and no big loss and very lucky to get a new deal
