Because we're ineffective through the middle of the park and resort to blatant fouls to slow down the ruck. Really hope he's just chatting shit to try and influence the refs and doesn't actually believe it.
Almost all of our penalties and six agains are deserved but the frustrating part is when the other team is almost perfect

Those ruck infringements are actually not penalties but 6 again. The penalties awarded for things other than ruck infringements is what he was questioning.

People don’t understand…. It’s not the amount we are giving away that’s the issue. It’s the blatant ones the other team make and never get penalised against us. We usually are 2-3 times more penalised against our opposing team. How the fuck can you win games when the ref is so one sided
Exactly. So many times you see a penalty or six again blown against us and the very next set ,whilst we are in possession, the opposition does the same yet on those occasions no infringements are detected. The position on the field and the timing within the set of six is also an issue.

You will find that the sh!t started in 1997 just after Super League collapsed and the teams re-joined and became the NRL. I'm sure it had something to do with a fued between Bullfrog and Arko.

This!

That's my biggest concern..

Yes we are undisciplined, but the fact remains you could justify a penalty in almost every set for both teams.. how the referees discriminate on what is or isn't is just b.s...

If you need any indication of how poorly the Bulldogs are going, this is great example. A whopping 38 restarts for being offside this season, 16 more than the next placed teams (Souths and Manly

But yet souths were never ever inside the 10 against us. Amazing how they have the second worst record but were penalised 0 times against us.
That's the smartest thing you've said since that time you said Elliott was a beast and could play origin with the right support structures around him. Bravo.

No, but when one team is inferior than the opposition and consistently doing it then it becomes far easier to penalise them. I've reffed (not league) and you notice this type of stuff. You might see something and decide to let it slide and give the bloke the benefit of the doubt only to see seconds later the **** do the exact same thing again.
I see your point. It's like in WWE when the ref sees the bad guy pick up a chair, he just knows there is plotting afoot....but when the good guy picks up a chair, the ref just assumes it's so they can take a well earned rest and looks the other way.

Do you really not see what we get penalised for, anyone we play get away with?

So you can't find any tackle in last nights game where the Bunnies were offside and deserved to be penalised? The ref couldn't.
If you read the rule book you could seriously find an infringement in every set to the letter of the law. I don’t understand how a team can be on side in every play of every game like South’s allegedly were.
Sure we were offside more times then we got penalised for but if there is an 0 on another team the referee is not doing their job plain and simple.

Well done Baz for speaking up again, it's about making noise until others hear. Just waiting for the NRLol flops to say they're currently reviewing the 'questionable comments' made by Barrett.
I agree, Trent is speaking it to a degree where he can avoid a fine, hopefully next year with all these good players it will change because if it doesn't. it will be come more clearer and more easier for trent to make a point on it.

Or when the female manager gets on the apron and the ref is scared she will cause an interference but the 6ft 6 guy with the other wrestler is free to do what he wants
