Saying that Jason Saab was off contract last year. I think we should have snapped him up when we had a chance.
Pretty sure he was under contract but asked for a release after he had a sook about having to travel from Merrylands to Wollongong for training

Schoupp is strong but that's where it ends. He doesn't have any sort of explosiveness or side step. He is not quick at all either. He doesn't have height either....don't expect him to rock your world in attack...
Doesn’t look like he has much in terms of a passing game either. He runs hard but needs some variety in his game.

I suppose that's why we can't score try's.....there is no "x-factor" in any of our back line, even when they do get the ball. They are more inclined getting in each other's way than making something from a half opportunity.

Would our side be that much better with JAC right now? I don't think so. Everything we do from dh is shit so i don't think changes to our backline will help us all that much.

I agree (for once) with you. We need a 7 and a 9. We won't be getting the Cheese...so, what's our option? Hodgson? Maybe he won't leave the Faiders? We also need an established 7 to make Burton’s life easier but who do you get....Pearce, Ash Taylor? I could live with Pearce for 2 years but I'm worried about his injury list. He has become a Foran lately....missing more games than playing. I can live with Mutt Dafty as fullback. If he turns into shit, we have Corey Allen or Avo that could slot in there. Problem is there is not that much quality out there and the big clubs won't let any of their spine leave.

BBO would probably have similar struggles if he was playing for 3+ months in this side, it happens to all our players. BBO does look more suited to that type of on the ball halfback Baz wants though.
Good thing we only got 5 games left, let him have some fun given we have nothing left to lose anyway

It's already dying.....especially with these touch footy rules now!
Melb and Penrith fans wouldn’t agree! Watch manly get smacked 1st or 2nd week finals.

Problem number 1 is Baz, the style he want us to play is just never going to work without the right players and unfortunately there's very few of these players in the game right now. The other issue with his system is that it's way too reliant on a halfback and other specialist players...if you lose just one of them your whole game turns to shit, just look at Penrith without Cleary. I think we could throw a few different players into a team from other clubs and they would make little difference without a genuine top tier halfback in the side.

Yh just run with BBO/Averillo for the rest of the year and break our game down. I'm sick of seeing our halfback get the ball and turn it under...just fucking hit the forward at pace right from dh and let the halves chime in and focus on running when the opportunity presents itself.
