Yes every time I see him play. He didn't even get an opportunity here with Holland and Montoya in the centres. Dumb.

It was obvious we needed to keep him and give him some minutes, was pissed off at the time when we let him go but TK called him a plodder LOL. He's the type of player that offers you good value when the forward pack and spine are performing and it's why you don't need to spend millions on backs (we have 2 wingers on over a combined million LOL). Schoupp is the type of back that also falls into this category imo.

I'd like to know what pay was thinking in letting him go. When Jmoz left he said harper was a ready made replacement for him
I remember thinking after his debut against the broncos this guy goes well.
We had reimis smith and harper in the centres that night .......
Who would have thought in 2021 they are probably up there as the form centres in the comp..........

Schoupp is definitely "just a job" player. I don't see much else in him

Schoup will go great for any of the stronger teams, and if he was positioned correctly by his halves would do a whole lot more damage than what he is doing right now.

It's fucking disgusting watching us ATM. BBO linking with Schoup would provide a glimmer of something to see next year, but no our coach in his infinite wisdom belives Averillo and Flannagan are our saviours.

God help us all

BBO would probably have similar struggles if he was playing for 3+ months in this side, it happens to all our players. BBO does look more suited to that type of on the ball halfback Baz wants though.

Schoupp is strong but that's where it ends. He doesn't have any sort of explosiveness or side step. He is not quick at all either. He doesn't have height either....don't expect him to rock your world in attack...

Saying that Jason Saab was off contract last year. I think we should have snapped him up when we had a chance.
