Can confirm although just a rumour but Laurie is all but on the outer at the Tigers and wants out. We were previously linked to him, Gus shut it down but as we know Gus is also a liar. Keep a watch out for this. We definitely are hitting targets for FB. Crighton, Herbie, Doeuihi, Laurie. Either one of these could very likely be signed very soon.

Yes we need to be chasing genuine quality and not looking at investing in sideway moves or making stupid gambles like Crichton. The likes of Laurie, JC etc have years of experience @ fullback on Jake yet they're no more established than him at this point. People also forget he's still only 22 and pretty much hasn't played fullback other than for a short spell in i think HM's. There's so much potential improvement in him this year and we would be stupid to throw that away because we had to sign Laurie LOL.

Has the speed and play making abilities just needs to work on positioning and he needs to not be scared of contact or contesting attacking kicks. He’s a good kid and he should come good with experience.
