What about lock, play old style lock role, which the gAme will evolve back too if they reduce interchange as having lock as 3rd prop not really needed
lewis has many qualities that makes him appealing to various positions. However until he starts running the ball and taking the line on with intent he's just going to end up a mediocre player who tackles all day... needs a real halves coach

When did Smith day he was retiring?
Welch would be a good signing and would help change our pack.
He signed a two year deal but I remember reading multiple comments from Smith and the Storm CEO that this will likely be his last year.

Whare is 29 with a massive injury history. He's a solid player and we need some established veteran players but I'd rather the club avoided injury prone players, especially those that are nearing the end of their careers.

From what I’ve seen he’s playing for 2 more years and that’s why he retired from rep football. He wouldn’t have signed for 2 if that wasn’t the case

We'll see. I guess it will depend on how he pulls up after the season or how well Melbourne do. I still think this will be his last year. He is 36 or something!

You probably didn't watch the game on Friday. Kid played really well.
I waited years for Sam to finally go I dont want the same player again. Sorry mate but I’m after tall wingers who are freaks in the air and have speed to burn.

I would only want a mid season signing if that player was a specialist in their position, no more of this fucking quick fix bullshit/slot him on the position cause there is no one else

They had all those presentations and dinners to celebrate cam smith’s career. It was a given he was retiring. I think he won’t stop playing till he hits 450 games tbh.

Haha. Yeah that wouldn't shock me either. Love him or hate him it's crazy he's still playing at a high level at this age. Especially with all the rep games and finals he's played.
