With respect you must have been a big unit.

80kg in 13 weeks is, well a shitload.
I was 126kg with 17% body fat when playing footy, hence the boys calling me tank lol. Broke my ankle for the second time and had to stop footy. Blew out to 150kg.

Then I copped the virus that fucked the ticker. Had to lose weight ASAP for a transplant. Wasn't obese enough for the sleeve. Gained weight on purpose to hit 162kgs.

Then they approved the sleeve. I dropped to 81kgs (22kgs of muscle which is bad). Got a 114kg heart transplant. Docs want me to Be in between 100 and 110kgs.

It's been 6 years and I still haven't hit 100kg, I'm only 98kgs.

I'd like to lose weight mainly to keep blood pressure down, especially at i approach my mid 40s, and have stamina to keep with with my kids. I don;'t want to be that fat old dad who doesn't want to play with his son, or daughter for that matter.

I'm not super obese where i can't fit into a chair or anything, but just have that annoying gut that just won't budge (having said that, i just ate a chocolate brownie - a small one).
I'm 60 and exercise every day (3-6 km walk) but I ate to compensate though that might be fine, for now, the exercise will drop off as I get older but the food intake will stay the same so the risk of me ballooning up was very real, hence the operation, in my case it was a preventative measure that so far is working, soon I will be able to eat all the things I like, just in smaller quantities.

What happened to the talk of In-N-Out Burger coming to Sydney a few years back? That would be insane.

Nothing beats Pauls at Sylvania for milk bar style burgers.

That's quite the turnaround. Well done. it's probably also having an effect n your mental health too.

I constantly use the kids as an excuse for not going out and exercising by myself, but i know its a bit pissweak. Its a matter of getting up earlier, and its not like Mrs CD won't be happy with the results either. Might be finally time to get the bike serviced. Use to go for long brisk walks with the dog, but now he's knackered about about 2km, the old bastard.
Yeah back felt better within a week, cardio improved push myself sometimes hardest thing to do is start once I start I zone out, getting frustrated because the gut wasn't budging but now results starting to show I'm more motivated, had about 2 beers in 2 weeks , don't drink coke no more that helps, mentally I'm buzzing so that's a huge bonus I can sleep still now being 100days to Xmas plan to drop another 10kg and build cardio up so I can enjoy bike riding and kyacking instead of struggling,

Yeah Pauls is pretty good who said you don’t have beetroot and pineapple and egg on a burger

I've tried every combo and don't like pineapple and beetroot anymore but I respect someone else having it. I don't get why people give a shit.

Sorry, but when i read about deliberately putting on weight, i thought of this...

Lucky you.
I mean it's okay until I've got to got to go to the toilet 3 times within an hour :/

I'm probably due back to see a specialist but so many are like "I'm not seeing patients" because of Covid or whatever. Fucking dickheads lol.

Also when I started I gave them man shakes ago ,which definitely helped while cleaning up my diet but they won't do much if you don't put in the work either
I actually don't mind having those sorts of things for breakfast on mornings where i can't be bothered thinking about what to have.

Where did you think I got inspired from? Lol
Favourite part from that episode

Lisa: Ew! Mom, this whole thing is really creepy. Are you sure you won't talk to Dad?

Marge: Mmm, I'd like to, honey, but I'm not sure how. Your father can be surprisingly sensitive. Remember when I giggled at his Sherlock Holmes hat? He sulked for a week and then closed his detective agency.

They will get sued soon enough.

I know of someone who opened a place called "starbucks" before starbucks came to Oz. He even admitted he got the name from a trip to the US. He swiftly got a cease and desist letter as soon a they did arrive.
I couldn't even imagine doing something like that, how could you ever think something like that would be okay. I wish I had that level of confidence... :tearsofjoy:

My lower back is destroyed ,went scans and shit an dr for check up cholesterol was fucked blood pressure bit to high and I'm walking around like a raped penguin it was sink or swim 7 weeks ago 96kg cleaned up diet eating more seafood and cutting out sugar and a lot of carbs, bought a rowing machine do 10km a day6 days a week , bought a mountain bike the other week ride also about 15kms( total) to work a day then Sunday go on trails ,and do a bit of light weights , down to 88 kg now finally starting to see the gut go , much more work to do but it's a start and enjoying it
I've been hovering on the point of hitting the excercise kick again for a while. Been off ciggies for about three months (actually use nicotine free vapes still but supposed to be better). Was planning on cutting out drinking coke when the cravings stopped for nicotine.

Not sure what I weigh at present, but about every 6 years I hit a point when I have to buy "fat man" clothes and it slowly pushes me back into exercising. If I could get back into swimming at the moment I'd have kicked it off since that's my choice of exercise. But pools are presently off limits as far as I know and it's still too fucking cold right now to swim anywhere outdoors where I live. My old mountain bike is just about fucked so I haven't taken that out for a couple of years either. Almost bought a new bike this year, but my old one is about 8 inches longer than the bikes I looked at and it felt weird on the shorter frame so I'll probably try and get a massive service done to get it back to feeling like a new bike soon. Went into hard lockdown a week after looking at new bikes so didn't get the work done.

Making a lot of excuses here at present. But I do hate when I have to buy new fat man clothes.

Doesn't really help when half the clothes at Kmart are made in Bangladesh apparently for anorexic midgets. I wear an XL in their gear when I'm at a healthy weight these days, while at lowes a medium or large would do the job. I have a feeling that in the next few years they'll be making mens clothes that you'd struggle to fit onto a barbie doll to sell at KMart. Doesn't change the fact that I need to excercise though.

They did a few popups in Sydney but nothing more came of it.
