Major respect to Payne Haas. Played major minutes & was always there to cover kicks. Played great throughout. Easily the Blues best player.

Is there any real long term future for SOO.
Has it lost it's aura?

Listening to Slater, that kind of effort on effort to get it done by Qld, for Qld, no matter what, will never die.

Looks like NSW will never out compete or out enthuse Qld so wins will be very scarce for NSW.

How long before the Sydney clubs say the injuries to their players just doesn't make it worth it? Could we get to that situation?

Could be getting into the flogging a dead horse territory?

NSW need to start winning or interest in the game could suffer.
I lost interest in Origin a long time ago. Quickly becoming disinterested in the game in general and not because we are crap but because it is just a shadow of what it was. Officiating is just plain poor and the constant rule changes and adjustments to "improve " the game are frustrating.

The NRL simply is content to sit back and fine players for illegal plays and allow certain ones to continue with shall we say rather dodgy behaviour. This is more evident when assessing things in Origin as if it is a game other than rugby league.

If the lop-sided results and differences in the interest/ability to deliver of the 2 teams continues for much longer, then its done for a lot of fans. The concept couldn't sustain another complete dominance of Qld could it?

Three games will maybe begin to seem like overkill and pure revenue raising rather than competition bragging rights. It just doesn't seem as tho it will have the magic for much longer if Qld keep up this form.

Billy says we are only just getting started with this team. The team has a lot more in them to create their own dynasty as his era players did is his goal.

Turbo is a dud at the moment, he's out of form and holding back. If he's not fit, he shouldn't be picked. As for Tedesco, replace him with Dylan Edwards. I don't think I've seem teddy play that bad ever, maybe that's a change that's necessary to mix it up a bit.
Turbo stuffs his pec while tackling Hunt round the head with illegal tackle. No penalty. Another dud ref.
