Let's be real, as much as several big names should be dropped, Freddy isn't dropping Teddy who is the captain, Turbo, Api or Cleary/Luai etc.

Turbo is a dud at the moment, he's out of form and holding back. If he's not fit, he shouldn't be picked. As for Tedesco, replace him with Dylan Edwards. I don't think I've seem teddy play that bad ever, maybe that's a change that's necessary to mix it up a bit.

Slater made ballsy calls by dropping proven Origin players like Ponga, Gagai and Capewell who helped them win a series last year. He replaced them with form players from this season and younger, faster options..

Meanwhile Freddy sticks with his favourites no matter how bad their form is or how past their best/injured they are despite losing the series last year.

QLD won’t change side except for injuries. Have some solid depth if the case in all positions.

NSW will need a couple of changes but understand too many changes won’t fix the problem either. As others have said Fittler isn’t coach material. So glad we have ciraldo instead. we have use our forward rotation better in game 2.
