After a wahesh of a scare, Kerber prevails.

Phew... at least there's still one hottie remaining in the tournament.

I was barracking for the Taiwanese woman. With that style, she looked like a battler, and like many, I love an underdog (and that match could have went either Wei)...

Nadal loses it in 5 sets.

I would like to congratulate Roger Federer on winning his 6th Australian Open title.

So... Nadal..

Genuine injury or "I lost the previous set 6-2, and am down 2-0 in the final set that I need to win" injury?

I'm not sure if this is true but I've heard if you pull out from injury you don't risk dropping World Rankings, whereas if you lose you can.

Rafa has all sorts of body issues, made worse by the fact that hardcourts are much more jarring.

He was struggling to walk up the 2 stairs to his press conference.

No way the dude is faking.

I have not been a fan of Nadal for sometime. I remember in the 2014 final against Stan Wawrinka, he appears to fake an injury sometime in the 3rd or 4th set when Stan had the momentum. The "injury" timeout was an obvious way of stopping the momentum stand had. I've never liked him since. Was never really a fan of his before either.

True ... isn't he a clay specialist though, which should be really harsh on the joints.

My 2 favs in Federer and Wozniaki are both in the final 4. Hopefully they both win their respective titles!

He's a sook.

- He's only won the Australian Open once which is the least grand slam he's won
- He complains about a busy schedule for the players... (Hello idiot, YOU make the decision which tournaments to play in)
- He complains it's too hot again (dickhead, you play tennis all-year round in Summer, you think you'd be used to it, if you're not used to it, fuck off, no one is forcing you to play here, plus you get a break every 2 games)
- He complains that the hard court is bad (I'm not even going to bother with this one... does he want us to go to clay just because it suits him?)

The bloke has won nearly $100,000,000 in prize money, millions more in sponsorship deals/endorsements, and he's in the twilight of his career yet he still complains? Sounds like a sore loser to me. Be gracious in defeat you Karmichael... the better player won!

Congratulations to Wozniacki taking care of Simona Halep. That's what Simona gets for eliminating my baby Bouchard.

As for FedEx, I knew he was going to win... (see). I just didn't think he's need 5 sets to do so.
