I don't think it will happen but it's not the worst idea I've heard. There have been some good players make the transition. Jarrod McCracken, Dene Halatau, Greg Eastwood are ones that come to mind. I think Rona has a future in the Centres as well.

I find it funny that he got two weeks, the same suspension as Tyson Frizzell received for knocking Tim Browne out cold earlier in the year which took officials 10 minutes to take him from the field. I'd rather have a bottle thrown at me.

This game was live on 9 last year as there was no Thursday Night game and 9 treated it as one of their two Friday Night games. I guess they missed out on this game as Souths & the Dogs have agreed to play it on Good Friday afternoon from now on.

I'm pretty sure the coaches of each NRL side talk to each other about what sides they intend on naming for trials. A mate of mine's son played for Wests Tigers and before a trial with the Cowboys apparently Tim Sheens & Neil Henry spoke about the players they would put out there.

The thing Ricky Stuart gives us that none of the others do is the ability to attract players such as Dugan & Bird. Young blokes will also stay for less money just to play for him. I'm not a great fan as I think he is a petulant coach but he will deliver us results.
