Round 18 Team News: Line-up finalised for Rabbitohs encounter
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have finalised their line-up to tackle the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium on Sunday 17th July, kicking off at 6:15PM AEST in Round 18 of the 2022 NRL Premiership.
Declan Casey is the notable inclusion, replacing Aaron Schoupp who was ruled out earlier in the week due to Covid-19. Whilst Chris Patolo has been named as the side's 18th man.
Forward Tevita Pangai Junior has recovered from a foot injury to take his place in the side for this Sunday's clash. The powerful lock has played an integral part in the team's yardage this season, and will link up with captain Josh Jackson and Corey Waddell in the back row.
Five-eighth Matt Burton has been named to back up from tomorrow's State of Origin decider to take place at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Other notable changes include the return of Braidon Burns, who is back from a successful stint at NSW Cup level. It is the first time the centre will feature in the top flight suffering a hamstring injury against the Rabbitohs back in Round 6.
Head Coach Mick Potter has opted for a familiar combination in Max King and Paul Vaughan to pack down in the front row. With young back rower Kurt Morrin adding to his NRL experience, being named on the bench alongside forwards Raymond Faitala-Mariner and Joe Stimson.
