Unborn have no existence outside the womb, and are part of their host, whose rights must take precedent. Once they are born the same people who scream for their rights are happy to abandon them to be looked after by their mothers, who may not have the ability or resources to properly look after them.
If the right was so concerned about the welfare of unborn children, they would support provision of financial welfare for them once they are born. Yet they are more likely to see welfare as some sort of socialism, and demand it be cut from government funding.
What right do others have to tell a woman that she must be burdened with a child they insist she must have, but will do nothing to help her clothe and feed it after its born. They are potentially setting up a society that pretends to care but leaves people to struggle.
