I love statistics, pick one that suites the argument, To'o has only made 128 tackles and Elliott has made 231, so Elliot tackles effectively 80% more often.
Ooo, another one Elliott plays average 60 minutes per game, To'o only plays 29 minutes, so Elliot plays 106% longer.

Did you actually just average out the salary cap by 30 players and use that as basis?

50 to 60% of the cap is going to a handful of players.

How about you average 4 million across 20 players and you'll reach a more realistic amount for those outside of your elite players in a squad

not forgetting also that you're probably looking at maximum 400k for a starting winger.

And you'd expect your bench to be made up with players coming through the juniors so they should not be on much.

Maybe its just they went in with a pretty low offer when they were trying to bring Bateman over. But now with it looking like he is heading to Wigan, Elliot's manager is trying to get a better offer for him. But I think 400K is a good price for him based on this years form. But the other side is now we have missed out on Bateman who is still available, If no one is available maybe Elliot is worth a little more so maybe 450K. but anymore and it starts to impact our ability to bring up quality Juniors into the top squad.
