I hate the idea of the Leagues Club sponsoring the club because it compounds the loss of the Rashays sponsorship. Instead of getting $2 million into the clubs kitty we essentially lose $2 million. It’s a $4 million hit! Sure the Leagues Club gets some extra exposure but it’s still a very expensive exercise.

Agree completely. On the surface it seemed like a good deal if I'm honest, but they way you've explained it .... it's really not what we want to be doing.

Honestly think when the NRL gets back up again that the club will push on and find ourselves a sponsor. Dealt with this recent crisis extremely well imo so am hopeful we'll actually get a cash injection as you say.

Completely with you mate. Said it early that this whole Rashays "We could sponsor the Dogs" thing is just a show, which I think most people can probably see. The difference for me is that I don't blame them for a second, nor do I hold grudges against this. Good for him for supporting his staff, like you say.
