Regardless of what your views of Left ideas are..time and time again this incorrect definition of labelling their beliefs being born out of..or operate in the style of..a fascist/communist ideology is an oxymoron.. I raise two very broad simple points that counter this false definition/argument: 1. The Left favour gay marriage..what was Hitler's solution for homosexuals..google Ernest Rohm..now whether you classify him as a Fascist or a Communist (I leave that debate for another day)..the Nazis..and their Neo-Nazis brethren..would not contemplate gay marriage.. and 2. The Left favour the protection of the disabled and mentally challenged..have a look into what the Nazis did to this segment of society..keeping in mind their ideas on racial purity..
As in all 'movements' there are extreme elements..but without some passionate 'left' view advocates..or influences..then many of the current generations of relatively new Australians would likely not be here..that is something that is pretty much forgotten..
