Probably because we don’t have one.
I thought it would have been nice to see BBO getting ball early at the line rather than as wide as he was getting it today. Think he only got his hands on the ball half a dozen times with not time to do anything.

Because he is calling for it and standing in the way

All No13's play first receiver and dig into the line

Because our club hasn't evolved since Sherwin/Kimmorley left.

We were doing this even in 2012 the only difference was we had a powerful pack and a brilliant fullback that year. Kris Keating and Josh Reynolds were never proper halves either, they played off the forwards.

Yeah that's shit coaching.

Should be BBO at first receiver for the most part and Avo outside him. This allows BBO to play before the line and Avo to just run into space.

This is why we need an experienced / competent half who can demand the ball and organise the team.

Some of his touches I felt were good. He did a mountain of work again. I liked the playing the ball in the line it gives us another option. His stats were strong today. We made some poor errors that cost us and got fries against us from kicks that we don’t contest. Penalty count 8-1 against doesn’t help either
