Building upon that media report about his secret meeting with Smith in Melbourne, Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton recently followed Brandon Smith on Instagram and has liked his images from the last two weeks. There is a trend with Warbuton's Instagram as he followed Brent Naden a couple of days prior to his sgining.

Second, the Gold Coast Titans are set to announce the signing of Darryl Clark from the UK. We were interested in him and I am sure that Tbaz would've got his man if he wanted to especially with fellow Pom Luke Thompson at the club. That all but confirms that we have signed Brandon Smith pending an announcement.

This is huge for our rebuild and I think is the missing piece. Watch this space.

I believe and It looks like we have enough for a quality hooker and a do the job/quality prop. Not sure about a second rower too, but I'm pretty sure that's the next thing we'd be looking at when looking at our roster, it comes down to how much exactly we have to spend (priority: hooker > prop > second rower).

Instagram shows common people you're following first (same people you're both following), I don't think Warburton followed Smith recently (in fact it was months and months ago). Naden was also after the fact, not before.

He could also be following him to see what he posts and who B Smith follows....It's common these days for company's to look at prospective employees Insta and Twitter to see if they fit the culture.
