You can watch a little video of him youtube if you want. He says "when I come home" when he is in New Zealand.

Look I don't care either way if he plays for Aussie Or NZ or Mars. But the guy is a Kiwi, and is using all the advantages he can in League.

He picked Aussie because he and his Father wanted him to play Origin.

Who cares man, it's not like he's joining the army or something.

Yeah to a Maori Dad and a Kiwi Mum, and wanting to play for the all blacks.

You think if he converts to Rugby he's going to play for the Wallabies? Lol

Like I said, just like Luai. Born in Sydney and plays for SAMOA.

They just want to play Origin, I'm tellling you if Ponga could play for NZ and Origin he would.
Is this a problem ?

Time for the eligibility criteria to change now?

Tonga and Samoa surely not considered Tier 2 any longer...in a lot of cases they have the best players now and going forward the Pacific Islander base of young emerging players will only get more dominating in recruitment and opportunity?

Seems silly that some SOO players aren't progressing on to Kangaroo selection and we could possibly see a time where almost all NSW players are Islander guys and chose their cultural homeland?

No, where did I say it was.

I'm pointing out why he took himself out of consideration for the Aussie jumper.

It's because he doesn't care, he's a kiwi. That's it.

You will see the who really wants to rep their country or play Origin when you make it Aussie eligible players only.

It's something they really need to keep an eye on otherwise half, or more, of NSW won't be playing for Kangaroos.

Qld is fine and don't have the same potential problem at present at least but vulnerable as well down the track

It pisses me off seeing islanders in origin who play for Tonga and Samoa.

Origin was always the best australian players from each state in their positions who would audition for a kangaroo jersey.

As far as I am concerned, if you don’t represent the kangaroos you have no business being in origin.

Luia, Crighton, To’o can all fuck off.
