Think Edwards having off-season surgery Tedesco and Walsh looking like the fullbacks

Funny rules.
I like them, you knock back a Kangaroos jersey for no reason and not play X number of internationals then you deserve to miss X number of NRL games. It’s in the NRL player contracts and they all signed them.

If the NRL doesn’t enforce this then there will be clubs forcing their players to skip internationals, for no reason, and there will be no international games. Or they will be meaningless without the stars.

Ponga’s a dumb arse, he wanted to play origin for QLD but Internationals for NZ which is not allowed. Plus of course he played 5 x Nines games for Australia in the World Cup, so it’s too late now. Sorry dipstick you should have read the rules.

Where's Tracey? Not even considered in a Top 7 list for FB?

Unless he has a great off season and puts on 6kgs and improves his tackle busts and defence...we will need a better FB to improve one step further for 2025 IMO.
Love what he brought to our attack this year, but he still has key areas of his game to work on. His defence was Duftyesque in our last three games. He needs to fix up his decision making before he’s mentioned in the kangaroos conversation.

Tracey had a good year for sure unfortunately the last few games showed why Cronulla saw the bigger picture in flicking him to keep Kayal Iro.

Australian fullbacks ahead of Tracey when all fit are Turbo, Edwards, Tedesco, Ponga, Pappy, Hammer, Walsh, Drinkwater and as loathsome as he is Gutherson.

Not trying to bag out Tracey... I think he was a revelation for us this year and hope Ciraldo can sort out his defensive issues, because if he gets that part of his game right, he could be an absolute gun. I'd take him over that overrated show pony Walsh, any day.

If one of our players said he doesn’t want to play rep footy to focus on us I’d place a statue of them in my living room
Fair enough, but without a reason he would then miss that number of NRL games, is that a good thing for us?

Pongas a Kiwi, he doesn't give a rats about the Aussie jersey.

Let's be real, if he could play for the Kiwis and Origin he would.

He'd be just like Luai and Critta.

I don't like the the rules to Origin, it should just be Aussies imo. Players who want to rep their state AND Country.

He was born in Port Headland, that’s about as far away in Australia as you can get from NZ.

Yeah to a Maori Dad and a Kiwi Mum, and wanting to play for the all blacks.

You think if he converts to Rugby he's going to play for the Wallabies? Lol

Like I said, just like Luai. Born in Sydney and plays for SAMOA.

They just want to play Origin, I'm tellling you if Ponga could play for NZ and Origin he would.

You can watch a little video of him youtube if you want. He says "when I come home" when he is in New Zealand.

Look I don't care either way if he plays for Aussie Or NZ or Mars. But the guy is a Kiwi, and is using all the advantages he can in League.

He picked Aussie because he and his Father wanted him to play Origin.
