Who are Players the Bulldogs should never have gotten rid of?

Gary Dowling. I was devastated when he left to join the Eels
Garry died at the very young age of 30 in a car accident, very sad.
I was fairly young and don't know why he left but he could have won a comp in 1980 too.
I think he went pretty well at Parra, scored 23 tries in 37 games.

Was never the same player after former team mate Brian Lockwood smashed his jaw at Leichardt oval.

Prior to that he was a tackle busting machine who the Bulldog faithful loved.

Not the best under the high ball.

Ben Barba (by his own choices) but boy o boy he sure was great. 2012 was awesome, if only he could’ve kept his shit together.

Biggest thing I noticed in these clips.
Most of Barbas breaks down field there was always 2 or 3 players with him ready to backup.
These days someone makes a breK everyone stands around

One of the most dominant seasons i have ever witnessed.

He was almost untouchable.

Imagine what could have been ? .... Barber, SBW and Thurston.
