Why would I waist my time watching the broncos?Haven't you got a tv? Turn it on next season 8pm every Friday and look at the basically full house at Suncorp every second week.

Still better than watching a broncos gameLike what, work for the dole, burning down buildings, illegal street racing etc.
But at least we know they are pets. they just think they a people wearing coats. We might laugh at their pets membership, but every club does it, including ours....
Well you did start the conversation about them........Why would I waist my time watching the broncos?
Don't get too excited. You 'country' games were at Gosford and the people who turned out weren't in Roosters gear. A few of the Sydney clubs took games to non-NRL locations and even NZ. How many Thursday night and early Friday night games did you get? We got smashed with them, plus we were playing rubbish footy and we still ended up with 14,000 av. This year we will be back up nearer the 20,000 mark. How funny that the Roosters are ridiculed for having no fans yet finished in 5th position in crowd numbers.
You’d expect next year they will maintain those numbers and again finish higher than the majority of Sydney clubs including the bullshit pride of the league in Souffs Sydney .
The Rorters crowd figures are trumped up big time . They do not average 15k at their games. At times they are lucky to have 8k .MUCH has been said about NRL crowd numbers in 2017, with poor figures drawing criticism over the state of stadiums, transport, ticket prices and more.
All of that aside, though, who are the most passionate fans?
Who are the battlers that show up each week to cheer their team on?
One-team towns Brisbane, Melbourne and North Queensland obviously top the list of club home averages during the regular season. That’s a no-brainer.
But a resurgent Eels and Roosters sides led the Sydney teams for average home crowds while the woeful Rabbitohs slumped to last.
Just five clubs recorded increases in average crowd figures compared to 2016.

Well I was asking about the crowds didn't say I want to watch them.Well you did start the conversation about them........
Rubbish. Don’t let that green eyed monster affect your sense of intelligence. The Rorters crowd figures are trumped up big time . They do not average 15k at their games. At times they are lucky to have 8k .
I’m thinking many of the numbers on that list are fudged.
The only sensible thing you said was the Bulldogs were playing rubbish Footy. Amen to that.Don't get too excited. Wow and here we all were thinking that like the other 2 members of your club you couldn't read. We stand corrected - you are free to leave. The only sensible thing you said was the Bulldogs were playing rubbish Footy. Amen to that.
They have high memberships because they include pets & 3-game memberships. A lot of supporters are not well off & buy short-term memberships instead of a year long one.Not sure about passionate, but i am very surprised the Rabbitohs are the lowest figure, considering they also have one of the highest number of members.
I was expecting the lowest figure to be the Raiders, Tits or Pennies.

Also because they play out of that shit hole at Homebush. They have high memberships because they include pets & 3-game memberships. A lot of supporters are not well off & buy short-term memberships instead of a year long one.
Yep but Souths do it more than every other club put together.Pretty sure all clubs do this
Actually the main reason why they have so many members is because the use their charity "Souths Cares" to pay for memberships for kids from western NSW. They maybe get to one game a year if the bus hasn't been burnt out. the ironic thing is that the money for the charity comes from their share of the charity shield every year. I think they have a heap of non ticketed members too.Yep but Souths do it more than every other club put together.

Interesting that, sounds like a fine line between charity versus marketing & promotion.Actually the main reason why they have so many members is because the use their charity "Souths Cares" to pay for memberships for kids from western NSW. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for them to give kids something when they are in need but to tout it as their "membership" base is a bit rough and it comes out when they don't turn up to any games.Interesting that, sounds like a fine line between charity versus marketing & promotion.
