What is your favourite (CURRENT) TV Show

Very late to the party but finally got around to watching Mr Inbetween. Really enjoyed the whole series.

Binge watched Bad Monkey over the weekend, Vince Vaughan is good, some twisted comedy mixed with serious detective work, Natalie Martinez is hot (as usual), as is Michelle Monahan and Jodie Turner Smith is one serious Dragon Queen. The Atmos sound track is stunning as is the 4K video.

If you are into dark comedy then highly recommended.

Been watching 'The Last Kingdom' on Netflix. I avoided it for a while, cause I thought it was just a 3rd rate Game of Thrones. But not at all. It's about the early days of England and them duking it out with the Vikings. Really enjoying it. Very high quality show. It's based on a series of novels which I'm definitely going to read.

Two episodes into season 3 of From. Really love this show and it's getting better.

I was concerned that they were going to take the Lost route. Creating a bunch of questions that will never be answered (the show is made by the Lost team), but they seem to be running with some interesting answers and back story now. It feels like they may even have a plan to wrap it up and not say that it's just purgatory.

Been watching fleabag on prime and it's actually pretty funny.

Those seeking something funny to watch for half an hour half should check it out

I'm finally watching Mindhunter. It a slow burn so far, but i understand the hype.

There's too many shows that just try to push for extra seasons by creating questions they'll never answer. Watched a few seasons if this one about a plane that went missing mid flight and showed up years later with all the passengers inexplicably linked. They hadn't aged but the people that remained behind did. After three seasons they cancelled it because like me people were getting shitty with it just layering question upon question.

I think that may have been Manifest, but it's hard to tell. They had at least three shows with that exact same plot. Or at least similar. Heap of people go missing, then all suddenly appear. The 4400 was one. There was another one that had a US version and a Dutch version or something like that. I think both got axed after one season.

Yeah I think he was referring to Manifest. it was canned after 3 seasons but then got an extra season on Netflix i think.

2 episodes in for season 3 of FROM (on Stan), and it’s absolutely epic.
I have watched Ep 1, but was thinking of waiting until season finished before I binge... how good was episode 2?

Can you give a quick rundown of the show? I always see the tile for it but haven't watched it.

Basics are...

A family is on a road trip when they arrive in a small town. They try to leave the town but keep ending up back in the town. They find out that everyone in the town is trapped there. They have no way to leave. And at night time these monsters come out of the woods and try to convince the people to let them into the houses so they can slaughter the people. The monsters look like regular people.

Bunch of mystery stuff going on around why they're trapped in the town, who the monsters are, weird shit like the fact that they have power but the power lines don't go anywhere. The show is effectively a horror mystery. Gets pretty intense, and gets really gory. The monsters don't just kill them. They usually play with their victims and tear them to shreds.

Freaking epic. I'm thinking of holding on as well because the episodes get better and better with each passing one.

Episode 1 was devestating. But seeing the fallout in Episode 2, it hits much harder.
