tell your son not to tolerate behavior like this from him again. Report him to HR in writing if that happens again.

Yes, once the words come out of your mouth, you can't take them back, no matter how apologetic you are.

My son is a good kid, he respects others but does not like to rock the boat. I told him that he does not and should not have to put up with comments like that and that should it happen again he is within his rights to report it, through the correct channels.
