Simple really. I care about animal welfare but I'm not against chowing down on a juicy steak.
Same here. I'm not some heartless bastard, but it's not as if people are stealing someones livestock and shooting them then selling them on some seedy black market for meat.

Farm animals are bred for food. If they were intelligent enough then I wouldn't eat them. As they are dumb as a Penriff Panther then I'll happily eat them. But I'm against inhumane suffering. That's why I won't support any animal farming that puts the animals in unnecessary pain.
That's exactly how I see things. We are at the top of the food chain and have always eaten anything under us.

Vegans seem to get awefully confused about pets vs produce. Sure you wouldn't kill a pet and eat it, because you never bought it with that intention. However cattle, lambs, pigs, chickens, etc are all bred by farmers for human consumption. They aren't treated as pets, and they have relatively short lifespans.

When they are killed in an abattoir vegans seem to think they get stabbed 50 times with a rusty spoon and are left to bleed out. That's not the case. Animals are stunned and dead within seconds. There is no suffering, there is no agony.

Just like if a human has a massive stroke or heart attack.

These activists points therefore are null and void. They simply want to force their beliefs and lifestyles onto others.

It's also why I support euthanasia. I don't think anyone or anything should be forced to suffer.
That's a different subject alltogether. I'm very mixed on it. Grandfather had terminal cancer and was given 6 months. If euthanasia was available we'd have had him for < 6 months. Instead he battled on with cancer for another 3 years before eventually his heart valves gave out. But that extra time with him we were able to create so many good memories with him.

So by your statement "that people who enjoy steak/cheeseburger/men , are superior to anyone else "makes your first statement that "women are inferior" untrue because women are part of the 'people' collective therefore your assessment is flawed...case closed your honor
Objection!

I got banned from a Vegan Facebook page a while back. They posted a photo showing animals and it had the animals we eat on the left and pets on the right. It said, "where do you draw the line?"

I edited the photo and put a human on the far right, then put the line after the human with a comment saying, "this would make a great buffet"

That's why euthanasia is always a tricky debate subject. No one wants a loved one to go early. We want to hold onto them. But at the same time we don't want the loved one to live their last few months in pain.

Mate if I was near where these idiots were protesting I'd be going to hungry Jack's and loading up on whoppers, and then eating them in front of them, making noises like it's the best thing I've ever eaten, and the occasional "moo". But that's me lol

When they were planning to open a McDonald's near where my mate lives, there was a massive online campaign to stop it. McDonald's did a popup store and they organised a protest. The protest turned out to be one guy with a sign. So we say in front of him eating Maccas and saying, "fuck this is good"

LOL yeah for such open minded people they can be quick on the ban button.

Pallative care specialists even though they can't assist, they have ways around it using syringe drivers to keep the person more and more heavily medicated for "pain relief".

Not sure it had the intended result. If anything it looked like a few extra hard core vegans trying to prove how "disgusting" eating animal meat is.

Would have been better leaving a severed cows head in front of them.
