Well it seeps into many areas, such as:-
Demanding a woman dress or act a certain way
Feeling that women owe you something
Feeling that women have a certain place in society and shouldn't look to move out of their place in society
Stereotyping of women with negative connotations (such as is done repeatedly on this forum with male "experts" speaking about feminists and the feminist movement)
Telling a woman how to think, or that she's being too emotional
That's just a short list but there's other areas that misogyny also covers
Well this is my take on the aforementioned:
Demanding a woman dress or act a certain way
Can be a controversial topic. I don't mind generally - especially when you consider what you see at the beach. But when a women dresses like a ho in public just to get attention, that's when it gets a bit much.
Feeling that women owe you something
Women owe me nothing. If I do something to help it's from the goodness of my heart, not holding someone at debt.
Feeling that women have a certain place in society and shouldn't look to move out of their place in society
It's a free world, what applies to men applies to women too. We are one but many.
Stereotyping of women with negative connotations (such as is done repeatedly on this forum with male "experts" speaking about feminists and the feminist movement)
Look I think women
should be free to do as they wish, but when they push for equality by exceeding what they're after (eg, pro women this, that etc...) again, they can take it too far, and need to be reminded of this.
Telling a woman how to think, or that she's being too emotional
It can get on any mans nerves. Men don't get emotional and hold it against women, so I don't think they should either.
