I have it on good authority Blake Taaffe has signed on for 2 years. Long story but through family connections.

I think he’ll do alright mate. He’s not a huge signing but he’s versatile and more consistent than some of the guys we have used in FG this year. Comes out of a strong system with a winning culture and hard training regime. Don’t think he would have cost too much either. Still hoping for another signing but i guess I have high expectations

Hooper stated it as official on 360 - rubbish show I know but I can’t help watch any segment bulldogs related. I view Karl as a better version of Nu so I feel we are generally trading up in most cases.

Personally I think Gould has achieved some good signings.
With no World Cup distractions, 24 pre season training should reveal some real progress.
Build our effort around defence, and the attack will follow.
Why is that do you feel?
Because by building a resilient effective defence you learn how to close down every attacking trick. It creates understanding as to what's difficult to defend against compared to what's easy to defend. This creates appreciation to such an extent that you can't wait to get the ball to try that trick on an unsuspecting opponent.

News re Braid Burns,he's looking at possibly re-signing.there's an offer from St George on the table but surprisingly he can see what the Dogs are trying to do & expects to it to be a bit tough but wants to stay & knows he maybe playing 2nd fiddle..supposedly the plan is to play Taffe @ the back with Chrichton & Xerri centre..
