For anyone that missed this, and anyone that doesn't want to click on the X feed Wendog shared. Trump was asked if Trudeau's comments were accurate and he basically said Yes. He has full intention to annex Canada and turn it into America's 51st state.

I don’t buy this. He can imitate Putin all he wants but at the end of the day the US isn’t a dictatorship as much as he’d want that for himself. Congress would never pass such a resolution (even with a small GOP majority) and he can scribble his Sharpie on as many EO’s as he wants - many of them are getting stopped by the courts and look at all his flops in just his first month. He knows he doesn’t have to face the electorate again so he’s throwing around all sorts of crap to see what sticks. This will pass and again he’ll look like a fool.

Love the latest flop: the renamed ‘Gulf of America’ won’t be recognised outside the US so it means nothing and likely will be reversed by the next administration. And he announced this flying over it to the Super Bowl where he tipped the team that lost :-).

Even the Governor of Illinois took the piss out of him by saying Lake Michigan needed to be renamed ‘Lake Illinois’ and he wanted to annex Green Bay (a dig at Agent Orange’s Greenland ‘policy’).

Yeah, it's Trump threats. He definitely wants Canada for the resources, but he won't do anything beyond tariffs.
 
Hamas has said that they're delaying the next hostage release due to Israel breaching the ceasefire. Israel has started preparing the military to return to fighting.
 
Trump was asked in an interview if Palestinians would have a right to return to Gaza after the rebuild and he said "no, they won't"

He went on to suggest that he's looking to build them a good lift elsewhere.
 
We fought multiple wars together with America and the clown hits us with ridiculous tariffs. Meanwhile Murika cannot stop kissing the arse of their “greatest ally”.

The state of politics sucks and I am sick of the right wing media in Australia kissing Trump’s arse. Sky News, 2GB and also 9 all Trump arse kissers.

Some push back seems to be effectively mustering giving the some 50% of Muricans who didn't vote for Trump some hope of an opposition movement for their once was democracy.

I have always said that Palestinians have a right to resist as they are facing an occupation that treats them like crap. But there's a difference between resisting and what Hamas did. Hamas executed unarmed civilians. The moment they did that, they lost all credibility.
