U.S. Politics Discussion 2.0

It's become evident to any fair minded person that their Govt is evil and are hard right racist, selfish fanatics. Protests are continuing in Israel so one assumes not all of the people agree with the hypocritical, strong arm, hyper aggressive, inhumane tactics and therefore recognises just how far their country has stooped in majority of other countries citizens opinions and standing ...even if their own Govts are too cowered and afraid to speak out or actively support prosecuting Netinyahoo, Trump, Musk etc.

We are seeing the ramifications of this with what they are doing to SA I guess...who's next to directly suffer under these evil dictactors whims and personal agendas :(

It's totally unbelievable and worryingly so far reaching, the influence a few meglomaniacs can have over World events, the poor and everyday struggling families in almost every country through financial markets and armed aggression....we've learnt nothing from the past and still voters run head long into the flames fanned by these dictator type leaders :(

The sad part is that before October 7, Israel was on the verge of revoulation. Netanyahu was facing daily protests over his attempts to turn Israel into a Dictatorship. And as bad as that all was, most experts are saying that he personally wants to end the war but his far right members of government are forcing him to keep the war going.

Jacko and Doogs like to argue about which President is worse for Palestine, and they both have points. But as I see it, Biden supported them when they were carrying out genocide, but he did at least two good things. He stopped selling and shipping the big bombs to Israel, and he put sanctions on the West Bank settlers. Trump removed both those restrictions and since then, violence in the West Bank has skyrocketed. Trump lifting the sanctions told the Israeli settlers and the IDF that they could do whatever they want. That has resulted in thousands of Palestinians being forced out of their homes. And a few hours ago it was reported that the IDF counter-terrorist team fired on unarmed civlians severaly injuring one man and killing his pregnant wife.

Biden definitely didn't do the right thing, but Trump is making a bad situation so much worse.
Speaking to members of his cabinet on Sunday after a recent visit to the US, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Donald Trump and the "historic" visit he had with the President.

He said the two had talks that could lead to "tremendous achievements that can ensure Israel's security for generations".

"I am not exaggerating. There are opportunities here for possibilities that I think we never dreamed of, or at least until a few months ago they did not seem possible - but they are possible," he told his cabinet.

The prime minister said the two leaders discussed shared goals of getting rid of Hamas, returning all hostages and "ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel".

"President Trump came with a completely different vision, much better for the State of Israel," he said. "He is very determined to carry it out. It also opens up many possibilities for us."

There are levels.

Ripping off a band aid slow or fast, the end result is still to rip off the band aid

A few of us called this exactly way back then, but we are just conspiracy theorists and antisemetics....
Well Netanyahu was under pressure as PM, and what better way to gather support than attack an arch enemy.

I feel I should point out that this is posted by AF News. Not to be confused with AP News. AP News is a reliable source. AF News is a far right conspiracy blog that virtually never posts anything truthful.

I tried to verify their claims with a brief (30 second) search and all I could find was far right and far left news sources posting it, and they're all news sources that are known to post fake stories.

Bet you didn't see this on the superbowl telecast.

Understand that. Everything is questionable at this stage as I pointed out above.

I think the reason the 3 men were so poorly treated was due to who held them. There's many different Hamas cells holding hostages separately and they all treat them differently. And some are held by other groups. The release before this was ones held by Islamic Jihad, not Hamas. Also note that the first few groups had men and they all looked well fed. It's only this one group that looks bad.
