Looking at the forwards for both teams, you've got to admit Qld have far greater depth.

They're will be many guys who miss out for QLD who have done the job in the past. Fotuika, Collins, Cotter, Horsburgh, Arrow, Flegler...these are their backups too Welch, Tino and Carrigan. NSW have Haas, sounding like TPJ and Yeo. Not many other promising NSW Origin forwards...

If TPJ is getting a spot NSW stocks are very low

Hope he does well. Stays injury free and doesn’t take anyone’s head off and gets suspended. Like others have said motivation is always one of his issues. If you can’t fire up for origin and if it doesn’t lift you to the next level then nothing much will.

To be honest I am a fan and he is our most damaging (only damaging?) forward. So I always hope he saw out his contract. But even for me it’s frustrating to see him go missing.
