Sad that this it what has become of the bulldogs where we need opposition players out injured for us to feel confident of a victory......years gone by we would have been pissed off because it would have taken the gloss off the win
I reckon we would have got them with jt in, but ok with him being out. Our F/A needs assistance.

If it was played at Belmore they probably would, hard to see us losing to a cowboys team without Scott and Thurston.
The issue is that knowing our players they are all probably thinking the same thing, just like they did against the tigers.

Rumour is a Grade 2-3 tear.

This just after he returns from a calf injury.

AND is off contract end of this season.

Anyone else think Thurston might retire at 34/35? I mean he's getting more injuries these days.

Or will he re-sign, push on, and go out on a dud of a season.
Doesn't everyone retire at 34/35?

Age is catching up on JT, cows look like a one man team
So if we can't win and win well that's not a good sign, really need to start to score some big points as the old F&A will kill us come finals

Interesting question.

This injury will rule him out of origin game 1 at least I would think.
If he had a 3 game winning origin series I think he definitely would retire.

Seems like his body is telling him.something, but I think he will go on another season.
