Kyrgios is at least as good as any of them that's what's so frustrating with him.

The big 3 (and Murray goes close to inclusion as he is superior to all of them too)we will never see the likes of again I don't think.Us fans have been very lucky and those players just below talent wise very unlucky to exist in the same era lol

Medvedev is a peaheart like Kyrgios when the pressure is on so it doesn't surprise that he won. Once the true greats of the game retire in a few short years there will be imposters everywhere winning Grand Slam titles.
Hatters gonna hat.

I can live with a lot of what Kyrgios has done on and off the court but his slut shaming of Donna Vekic while playing Stan Wawrinka was totally unacceptable

Kyrgios destroys Medvedev in the US Open to reach the last 8. By far the best year he has ever had. He will be in the top 20 again after this tournament

Congratulations to Ajla Tomlanovich on reaching the quarter finals. She's doing well in majors lately, good to see. She plays the game in the right spirit without all of the garbage other players carry on with. Wish her well and hope she keeps her run going.

The other tosser, not so much.

Wonder if he's a relative of Brian Norrie, ex footy player?
From Wiki

Norrie was born in 1995 in Johannesburg, South Africa, to British microbiologist parents: his father David is from Glasgow and his mother Helen is from Cardiff.[2][3] In 1998, when Norrie was three, he and his family moved to Auckland, New Zealand, after being victims of a burglary in South Africa. Norrie said: "I don't remember too much about it, but my mum told me it got a little bit too dangerous so we moved to New Zealand."[4] His parents still live in New Zealand.[5] In 2011, at age 16, he moved to his parents' native United Kingdom, where he lived in London for three years before attending Texas Christian University in Fort Worth from 2014 to 2017. In June 2017, he ended his studies at TCU to turn professional during the grass court season of the 2017 ATP Tour.[6][7]

Since turning professional he has been based in Putney, southwest London (close to Wimbledon).[8] When the Indian Wells Masters was cancelled in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic lockdowns, Norrie decided to fly to New Zealand to live with his parents for the rest of the year.[9]

Kyrgios is entertaining and is getting better with age but he doesn’t have the mindset to win a Grand Slam until he hires a coach to help him mentally. It would need to be a very well paid job, hence why he probably doesn’t have a coach.

Kyrgios is like the Eels, they both have the talent to go all the way but both need decent coaches to do that. Until then they’re bound for disappointment

He's coming off the back of a Wimbledon final and is one set away from a US open semi final. Wouldn't write him off, tbh. If he can get through this match he's a pretty good chance.

He plays some unbelievable tennis and then plays dumb tennis to let his opponent back in. As I said he has the talent to go all the way but mentally he is still a long way off winning a GF. Those clutch points need to be won to be successful.

Back to back grand slam final and QF (at minimum) is pretty successful. I think he has come a long way this year from a mental POV.... but I know what you mean, those mental lapses often prove costly and may stop him from going all the way.

Neither of these 2 will win the next round, to many unforced errors.

Nick may still win this but whoever wins this has to play the 5th seed in Casper Ruud.

Ruud is a clay court specialist. I think he's only ever won one title on a non clay surface. He is in career best form on hardcourt, but I don't think him winning the semi would be a given against either opponent.
